Working with the staff over all was not bad but when it came to the general manager and the area manager they didn't listen to their staff. you could ask for certain days off and even write it down and they would still put you into the scheduled for those days. The area manager tried to get a pregnant staff member to go clean everything with bleach. If you ever needed anything they would either complain or say yeah that's fine and then never do it. Closing there was terrible they always under staffed at the busy periods of the day then have a lot of staff when it wasn't needed. When I worked there they cut a majority of the staff to 2 shifts a week.
this was a good place for your first job if you dont understand that you are supposed to be doing in the job so it works. its easy but it was also not accepting of you needing time off. calling in sick was the end if the world because they were so understaffed
It was an enjoyable first job because all aspects were easy to learn and the environment was fairly slowpaced. Unfortunatley sometimes managment could be rude and forgetful, or would make mistakes and blame it on the employees. In my first five months of working there, over 75% of the staff quit because of the head manager at the time.
Area ops manager treats employees Poorly and does many illegal things. Takes raises away, opens store when it's unsafe working conditions, not following availability. Continues to add unreachable goals to the store and gets mad when they can't be completed. They run the bare minimum number of staff, have fun closing a restaurant on 2 people while getting slammed till closing time. They don't have enough labor hours for training they just throw you on grill and expect you to know it instantly.
