A typical day at work would be to make sure the bistro (Finest at Sea is half a deli, half a bistro) was set up and stocked, then to do the rest of the daily duties as stated on the list set by the manager of the day. For the job, I learned how to cut, portion, skin and de-bone fish, as well as some other kitchen skills. In general, I learned how to maintain a clear head when dealing with trouble customers as well as nice ones, and general people skills and how we all interact. My coworkers generally made working fun, and I would say that they definitely made the job better. The hardest part of my job is probably having to deal with other people. To be completely honest, I'm not the most social person out there and so having to work in an environment where I am constantly around them, it helps me get out there. The most enjoyable part of my job would be interacting with my coworkers and meeting new, different people through work.
