Very Old style company with management is living in past and not ready to change. FCL experience will not give any edge in the market. Do not recommend working with FCL.
None I can think of
FCL is living in the past.
Good people and had lots of fun and also had to work very hard. We finished all the projects on time. Natural/ADABAS was the main product. We were converting part of the system (General Accounting system) to run with J.D. Edwards software, (ERP system) run on a UNIX machine.

Definitely not the company I was expecting. Very behind in there ways, this is definitely a company where it’s more important on who you know, not what you know. Within weeks of being hired everyone who had interviewed me was terminated. The famous “your not a suitable fit”is used by this company. Beware when accepting a position with this company, skills and knowledge are not relevant , it’s more of and old boys club!
Nicest people I've ever worked at but culture is decision is driven by authority. It's a shame how great of a job people do living up to the values, none of which seem to have any value in autocracy this organization boasts. Regardless of great people with good hearts who want to do the right thing, this is the place where creativity and progression comes to die. If you like status quo and sucking up to the managers, this is the place for you.
+ A typical Day at Work: Availability monitoring and problem resolving + What you learned: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server High Availability build and maintenance + Management: Reasonable + Workplace Culture: Team work oriented + The hardest Part of the Job: Keeping the time schedule + The most enjoyable Part of the Job: Database servers build
FCL is an organization that is struggling to modernize. There is a focus on management fads that is driving up costs and is increasing the size of departments with limited impact on organizational success and creating a bloated bureaucracy. It is good place to get some experience but not a good organization to for a long term career.
Nepotism is rampant throughout the organization.
great place to work. work balance lot of Social activities friendly and passionate to make progress environment training option eLearning resource are provided for ethical social and technical, we use Pluralsight Subscription to extend out technical knowledge
work and life balance
FCL is one of its kind and is in virtually every industry including Grocery, liquor, gas stations, home & building solutions, refinery, fertilizer and feeder plants. It has 190+ co-op (sort of individual companies).
Good pay and benefits
lack of work life balance
I was in a number of roles during my time at Federated. The company was a great place to work and a place I could be proud of for their community support. The position I was in before I left involved managing a large number of entry level employees and the amount of training, interviewing, and hiring I was having to do was ultimately why I left the company.
Excellent place to work. Great work culture. Management is good. Have a huge opportunity with IT innovations. Very complex IT interfaces, which can simplify with ERP system or SAP module
Good Salary and Benefits
Have opportunity to advance with innovation
As is typical of most large companies, the "head" doesn't always know what the rest of the parts are doing. If you end up in a well run dept, awesome. If not, good luck.
Stable company, well diversified.
Individual fiefdoms are allowed to exist, to the expense of the company as a whole.
It still survives in 21st century because of its refinery. Toxic culture and hopeless management insane politics. They say so and do different Be quiet if have a family to feed and always look for other jobs.
Good place to retire
Too many to list
