FedEx is a great company but the way it is being managed is an absolute shame. Some managers are bullies, have no people skills when speaking with associates, and take out their personal problems on people at work. When you speak up for yourself, you get assigned complicated tasks and treated like dirt.
pay is good
Favouritism, lack of people skills among management, no room for advancement

Management does not help you or assist you in any way when you have issues that need to be addressed. The HR department does not support supervisors when they need help with their employees. But most importantly, they fire people for reasons that make no sense. They fire people who try to change the organization for the better, and choose the opinion of outsiders over their own employees. I would recommend no one to work here, as you will either leave after a short amount of time, or get fired.
Job security Benefits Opportunity for Advancement Nice people No office politics Solid company to work for Best in Canada Lots of locations to choose from if you want to relocate close to home
Great company to work for
lots of work to do
This has to be the best company to work for. The management team respect employees and their work life balance. Employees understand the need of the customer and deliver on the purple promise.
Pay, benefits work environment
Possible long hours
Bad experience for me, start as casual could not get permanent part time, full time dont even think about it. Certain managers on power trips, 10 to 15hrs a week most of the time not even worth my drive to work. Serious favoritism, say a package handler all of a sudden gets his drivers licence and wants to be be a driver he will get a part time position before others because he was there before. So suck up like most and youll be bumpd up, if not ur a casual which means no raise in pay or benefits , treated like garbage Seen many quit for this reason
Work outdoors and on your own, drive, meet nice people
No hours, no raises or benefits. Micro managed. Every minute is accounted for, which u will have to explain 3 mins extra lol
Good work life balance. Realistic expectations. Great pay and benefits. Lots of guidance and training for self and career improvement. Career for life!
Wages and benefits
difficult to get full time position
It is a fast paced environment that requires good attention to detail and excellent time management skill. You require excellent organizational skills so that you are able to deliver all your packages in a timely manner.
can be very long hours
As per our moto, to deliver on time it's trully a fast pace business and I am proud to be a successful part of their operation.
FedEx is best place to have a part time job, as per their operational requirements. Mostly their employees have full time jobs and they come over here for the part time, except the couriers they have mostly full time jobs. I am with FedEx from last 16 years as a part time employee because I had my own Consultancy Business so it really suits me. Since I had winded up my business, I am looking a full time job. I have 14 years perfect attendance certificates, never been late and have never sick call. It's a proof being reliable, roll model and be honest with my position.
Best place to have a part time job.
Have no extra time to work.
Don't ask your manager or corporate to do anything out of their ordinary because they can't handle anything. Thankless place to work with quite a few bad apples. Glad to be gone.
Autonomy once on the road
Management is dumb, long time couriers are a little messed up in the head
The people are FedEx are amazing, always a fun loving environment, the co workers are all welcoming and treat employees like family, the culture is great, management will be there to help you
Great office environment, people are put first, employees taken care of, great benefits
Advancement opportunities to new positions can be slow
