My managers were very pro-active. They encourage me to aim high and hit the mark...guiding and mentoring me along the way. I would have gone far up but I had another job wherein I was more senior. It is fun to work in FEDEX..plus the perks and the pension plan are tops.
Overall, FedEx has very high standards and the people make all the difference for an enjoyable work experience. FedEx is a well oiled machine; each department interacts and depends on each other to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Excellent benefits package.
Great atmosphere and open people. Clear processes, instructions, etc.People were really supportive. I saw everyone was into their jobs with dedication. People were always cooperative and very knowledgeable.
Well organized, good management. Teamwork, nice people to work with.

The day starts with warehouse work where parcels should be scan and send for shipment. I learned data entry and discipline and punctuality. Management is good but not for temporary workers. Workplace culture is pleasant.
Great company name to work for, however, if not run by persons who valued their staff well-being then it only makes the company looks bad. Example! The managers don't care about how the staffs are been underpaid once the job is getting done and they're getting their good pay and bonuses.
The IT Management at FedEx Canada is frozen by fear to do anything innovative. The culture is one of passing the blame. There is lack of collaboration between the groups and wide spread favoritism. The IT professionals who try to make a difference are considered trouble makers and are not welcome. Even the Architects at the Corporate HQ do not do much design. The design is mostly done by the vendors and the Architects present the solutions as their own. If you just want a job and you know how to play the Corporate games this place is for you. But, if you want to develop as professional, stay away.

Management does not always look at the big picture
There's nothing much to say besides they don't pay enough while they hire few permanent staff members while rest of staff is on yearly contracts with no benefits or sick/vacation days. Also, lack of growth is another reason why there's a high turnover rate in FedEx Trade network who don't seem to care to retain. Only good thing is dress code (causal) and random BBQ/Pizza parties they have to show their appreciation
supervisor was nice and helpful. Co-workers were great team player. working environment was friendly and easy going. Working at fedex made me love work and looked forward to going to work on time and improve m customer service skill while enjoy work over time.
The workplace harassment and inefficiency could be dealt with more than not at all if the managerial hierarchy were qualified and ready to deal with the issues that arise in a a physically demanding, and time-sensitive workplace.
Used to be a good place to work once upon a time. Management is a joke and continue making changes that not only are affecting the company negatively, but also bringing down the morale of employees heavily. Safety is no longer as important as they have always made it seem. In the end, safety issues are pushed aside and ignored due to cost. Company has always claimed to be a people company. ..their moto is PEOPLE, SERVICE , PROFIT, in that order..Always PROFIT ahead of PEOPLE AND SERVICE. Too cheap to invest in new technology and falling way behind compared to most other competitors that arent even comparable in size to Fedex. Management is only worried about staying within budget to make their bonuses. Employees are no longer important
I would not recommend working for FedEx. It is a poor environment.. lack of professionals and is basically a one sided business. I never felt appreciated their.. disrespectful management and employees out to get you and only care about themselves..in any circumstances they were never there to fight for you only if you where in their clique group.. salary was not up to par.. trying to get another job within was pretty much impossible unless you were in a specific group.. they would hire people within the department that had a lower pay or grade as you. I would never tell anyone to work for FedEx! It's stressful and you will definitely get anxiety and depression...guaranteed! I've known many people that have come and gone due to this reason.. oh and forget about being sick or your family being sick they will write you up for that even though they say family comes first! They will not fight for you.. you pretty much have to watch your own back. Management are out for themselves and could care less about their employees.. all they do is gossip and run their mouths about people there! They are never working and always socializing to fit in. I would never recommend working for FedEx! They are a complete joke and they are a lie!
Acquire knowledge about how to rate the live shipments coming everyday.Our Manager and supervisor are very friendly. The good thing about this job at is that their is no pressure on us and no-one is keeping an eye on us.
