Productive but not too busy and stressful. People show respect to one another. There is a good working environment. Managers are very friendly and approachable.
It is hard to get full time positions
I'll never say bad thing about FedEx and was second time I worked for them. Unfortunately for me I'm half the man I used to be and at 60 my health and safety was a little more important as Covid arrived same time in the city and I realized I can't load 53' trailers by myself. Not to say that there weren't older employees maybe older than me working loading trailers on there own. Their warehouse is amazing and very, very empressive. The equipment is kept in perfect working order. Great opportunity for anyone in good shape. I'm sorry I couldn't physically do it myself.
Learning skills, training, job security
Dangerous, loading procedures, loose loads
It was a great personal and work experience working for Fed Ex. The people that I worked with were very helpful and easy to work with. Working with such a diverse group was an added benefit in gaining the experience to work with people of all sorts of backgrounds.

This is a physically demanding position that can be fun. You work outside mainly so dressing appropriately is an absolute must. You will work hard and be tired at the end of your shift. There are opportunities for growth and development. The training regiment does take time.
Always busy, constant customer inquiry phone calls had to have thick skin because often times the customers get upset because there was something wrong with the shipment or it was late and they take their frustration out on you. So the ability to keep calm and carry on is most essential. Nice office building the management team was usually pleasant there was plenty of opportunities to move up within the company. Strong FedEx work culture.
The most part of this job I've enjoyed is Inventory Control. This is a face paced environment and very friendliest employees/teammates I've ever worked with.
free meals for appreciation month.
no interpreter provided for my needs
If you are good with time sensitive work this is a great place to be. The pay is on par with average however the benefits and extras that working here entail you too makes it worth it.
room for advancement
A fair place to work, great people, good management. great benefits.the hardest part of the jobIs weather conditions, the most enjoyable part of the job is meeting and satisfying your customer relations
Its very productive and the emolyees get things done. However the management at fedex can be improved. The supervisor can be nicer with her language.
Flexible work hours
The supervisor was aggressive and offensive with her language
Typical day 4-5 planned meetings per day 4 drop in meetings per day Constantly replying to email for customer support Booking meetings throughout the day Input all meeting, notes and next steps into Salesforce Great support system for delegating customer resolutions Open door policy to management Never enough time to get things done, hitting the KPI's, and prioritizing are the hardest part of the job. Working with FedEx co-workers is the most enjoyable part of the job.
I was treated with a lot of respect from every department not just the one I was working with regularly. Management was done with respect to job needs while still maintaining employer-to-employee relationship.
Great working environment
Short work days
