The pandemic taught us that FedEx values making money over the safety and health of their employees. Employees are overworked and exhausted within every department as management is pushed to micromanage employees. They expect you to use your own resources on your dime and will find every way to make your life harder. You get no respect or appreciation being an essential worker here all they care about is making money and aren't happy until they've sucked your soul.
Points positifs
None they took them all away due to the pandemic
Points négatifs
No HR, micromanagement, low pay, long hours
Typical day
4-5 planned meetings per day
4 drop in meetings per day
Constantly replying to email for customer support
Booking meetings throughout the day
Input all meeting, notes and next steps into Salesforce
Great support system for delegating customer resolutions
Open door policy to management
Never enough time to get things done, hitting the KPI's, and prioritizing are the hardest part of the job.
Working with FedEx co-workers is the most enjoyable part of the job.
Contract staff are rarely hired regardless of performance. Do not expect to be treated with the same respect nor included in many activities. Salary is poor.
