My contractor was one of the most amazing men I have ever met and the two gentlemen that ran the show were inspiring. Being a woman I was somewhat worried that I may not have been accepted by all the guys, but it was the complete opposite. Every single person made me feel welcome and made me feel part of the family.
I absolutely love driving and love making people smile, so it was a perfect fit for me. I had to pack my own truck, so my organizational skills were tested and perfected by the end. Getting a route down pat took some time, but gradually got easier as time went on.
Every day was different and the job doesn't feel repetitive at all. Sometimes the routes change, sometimes you get sent else where, but over all I've never worked at a job that could get me jumping out of bed at 6:30. Ever minute of sleep lost, was never regretted. The only reason I left this job was because I had to leave the province, otherwise I would never have left.
