Very difficult to move up. Managers are sheep. Yes sometimes positions open up, but they already know who they want in that position even though anybody can apply on them.
Human resources constantly changes. There is a terrible culture in there. Many people from the same family are employed in high positions however they are placed in way that they do not violate policies. DDB

Pay is above industry standard. Benefits are low. Be prepared to learn everything on own and know everything about company policies and procedures on day one. Long hours. Very needing customers, alwaus upset and rude.

The staff was amazing to work with!! The hours were perfect for what I was looking for. The training that was given was easy to follow and they were clear on what they expected.

Working in the Richmond Call Centre is basically a job... would not consider it a career. I love the employees I work with, but it is extremely hard to advance or move into other departments within the company unless you are willing to "outwait" years for employees to retire or quit.
Call Centre work is high stress, management worries a LOT about stats and being world class. They mean well, but the company is so big that you are sometimes just treated as a "number".

Very high attrition in the Call Centre... 2 groups of new hires are trained every year (16 people in a class) and less than half are still there a year or two later. Most people will stay for a bit and then find something better.

Benefits are good... pay is alright. It's a job.

Booking vacation days is a bit frustrating... not enough "slots" to book off for such a large group. You won't get any days off near a long weekend or summer time unless you have a high senority.

At FedEx, there is a great level of care when it comes to providing for the employees needs. The management is always carefully looking at various ways to improve their employees work life balance. Training will always be provided to be able to complete any task at hand.

Great company to work for. Great opportunity to move up/ Positive environment and lots of support. Hardest part of the job was giving the customer an answer they did not expect nor want to hear.
