The work is hard as a cargo handler, but its a great and stable work environment, with a good group of people working alongside you! I left for another job, when things didn't go well, they gladly welcomed me back with open arms!

Amazing staff and management
Great benefit

Flight discounts hotels and car rental discounts. Great place to work some days get stressful but always fun to work there

Pay is above industry standard. Benefits are low. Be prepared to learn everything on own and know everything about company policies and procedures on day one. Long hours. Very needing customers, alwaus upset and rude.

At FedEx, there is a great level of care when it comes to providing for the employees needs. The management is always carefully looking at various ways to improve their employees work life balance. Training will always be provided to be able to complete any task at hand.

Overall the company was good to work for. Every day brought something different. Some days, due to unforeseen circumstances, freight was late and it could make for a long day. I enjoyed interacting with my customers and building relationships.

My typical day at Fed Ex is as follows;
- Planning in the early morning

- Sales calls up to eight customers

- Administration in the late afternoon


I learned a number of transferable skills at Fed Ex;

- Time management

- Conflict resolution

- Sales planning and closing

- Customer service and retention strategies

- Collaboration and team work


I had an especially good relation to my manager, who was a champion mentor. He positioned me to be able to replace him, with the coaching I received during our 1 on 1 time. The training I received at Fed Ex's leadership school was also top quality.


My relation to my coworkers was very positive. I came into a very seasoned team, and there was no turnover during my time there. I consider myself very lucky to have been in such excellent company, for so long.


The hardest part of the job is the lack of promotional opportunities. It is difficult for an overachiever to stay motivated, when no upward movement exists. The compensation was also weak.


The best part of the job truly was my interactions with my colleagues and customers.

one of best companies i worked for in a long time.
very understandable and like a family they help you when you are in need.


they dont just fire you how some companies do.

they are there when you need them, for whatever reason !
