you learn a lot in a short amount of time and experience everything in a very fast-paced environment. position has s high turnover which makes it difficult to ask colleagues questions, however training is provided if requested. meeting deadlines is important and being able to stay organized is important for this role. a typical work day consists of posting entries, doing variance analyses, preparing financial statements and keeping close communication with your respective homes.

You will be overworked and you will be underappreciated. Training is adequate at most. Management is run by unethical people whom mess with your vacation days and lieu days. On my last two weeks there they only paid me 21 out of the 49 hours I had worked. Avoid this place if you can, it's not worth the stress. Should you accept any role here, you'll have look liked you aged another 20 years.

it is very big company.you have to work very hard and the salary is the minimum. There is a place to grow employees not so friendly you have to teach yourself

The turnover in every department within Extendicare and it's subsidiaries is extremely high. You are treated poorly and they do not observe a healthy work/life balance. Your contribution to your department goes unnoticed and when they have sucked the life out of you, they discard you. People often quit or get fired from this company. The benefits are good, but the pay is below the industry standard for all the roles within the company.

Low paying position which expects you to put in long hours. High turnover leads to extra work for the remaining analysts. Good place to gain experience.

Management was good until another Director showed up and got rid of all the old timers. New IT Director practices micro management and a power trip type of person. Most employees are not happy with management but overall the company itself is good.

A great place to start of your finance career and management is great and supportive. You will learn the basics. However compensation is low and long hours.

I am working as small IT AS/400 development team to do program change and maintenance for the Payroll and Finance system. We also provide user support to Finance and Payroll department users for daily operation or requirement of change. All user requirement to change has to go thru the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) and In am involved in the system analysis , programming, testing, implementation and user training. I don't have any Healthcare system experience, but my colleague is good to help me to pick up the system in short, People here are glad to help and share knowledge and skill.
