It is a decent place to work. Manager are generally good and are good mentors. The job isnt too stressful and co workers are all nice. The biggest problem is the low pay. It is really low when compared to other jobs in the industry and the benefits are also not very good either.
Good mentors, low stess
low pay, poor benefits
If you work for Evertz, you never want to leave your job. Evertz is a perfect company to learn, grow and be happy. Some lever of management might be combined for more efficiency. If you are an engineer, a thinker, and want to be productive, Evertz is the best place to work in Canada.
Very friendly atmosphere.
My job was very dependent on the available modules or customer's specifications to complete the product. Sometimes it could be very monotonous with nothing to do!
excellent supervisor and manager
cut-back in hours
Very very poor management No communication between Manager and HR dept. Very unprofessional management. Top level employee( Managers and Supervisor) behave like boss ( King), they are thinking rest of all are slaves. There is no Human rights, they are doing discrimination. (I have all proofs). The New Comer, please do not spoil your career at Evertz.ewhere else.
You can see the Human right violation live without going in Past.
Spoil your career, time, self respect.

Work in general is great, fast-paced, knowledgeable. Write code every day. Managers are great to work with and company is a manage up environment. Good opportunity to start your career as well as place to continue if you can manage to stick with it.
good place to gain experience and add a lot of knowledge, it is literally a stepping stone for anyone who's in need for money work and experience. work environment is really friendly, management could've been better, but all overall is good to start somewhere.
It's quite embarrassing for me as a man to say this: All the highest positions are occupied by a tight group of buddies, misogynist men who regardless of the title women may hold in the company, will make sure they know they have absolutely no power or say in anything that happens within the company. The harassment against women in this company is probably the worst I have ever encountered before. The ONLY people (also only men) who get away with anything are the sales representatives that "bring in the money", even though everyone else does all the work to create, prepare, manufacture, edit, build, ship, products of great quality. Anyone with any respect for themselves and others has quit within their first couple of years in the company, including myself. The company produces top of the line products which is what keeps them afloat, however, it's all at the cost of a submissive workforce and low paying salaries. You'll find here that the way the company works is by attracting incredible individuals with great qualifications who are just starting out in the country or who are still young. The tactic is to take advantage of these people, drain them of their potential, and get optimal results for as long as the person in willing to either put up with harassment, or witness it being done to others. The team members I found to be great, are all looking to leave the company the moment a new job is lined up for them. If you are a man with any respect for the women in your life, DO NOT WORK there, if you're a woman, I hope this gives you some insight on how things could go for you.
You experience and witness how a person should NOT be treated
Service is hard to manage work life balance if you are over seeing several projects. Management expresses your concern and wants to help but little can really be done as staff if often spread thin. There is very little connection/communication between departments which sometimes causes a disconnect or slow resolve when assisting customers. Honestly its a great place to learn and grow in the broadcasting industry. Seriously do not regret my time here at all. It really sets you up to work for any other company in the industry. This is good because the salary is not very competitive in most support departments
Probably the worst company I've worked for. Service department isn't managed at all. The director is extremely unprofessional and lacks management skills, in that he doesn't even manage the department. Lots of profanity is flown around by the director; calls staff stupid, tells them to go away or eff off if he is busy. I do not recommend working here. Their product is awesome! But the company itself is poorly managed.
They don't care to help you grow They don't care to see you advance There is no work life balance Raises and reviews are a joke Management is a joke HR is at least nice/friendly
Great people to work with
Amazing place for anyone starting right out of college (or Co-ops). The amount of knowledge that is available at your fingertips is tremendous, but you have to take the steps to learn yourself, most people won't teach you if you do not ask. Most of the people are very helpful, polite, and considerate. Management is fair and understanding, and helpful when you need them. Workplace is very culturally diverse, where everyone has a group to fit in, but they are all friendly between each other. Most cultural holidays are celebrated, with lots of food and beverages from different cultures. The only real issues are the low pay, small room for job growth, and the lack of communication between departments.
Knowledge, self-growth, friendly co-workers/management
Low pay, no room for positional growth, department communication problems
I want to join a workplace where there is good management, literally an effective management of human resources, material management, safety and good financial management which is cool for both employees and employer. The mutual behaviour and conduct in a workplace is so essential to keep work environment healthy and sobre. We have two types recognized health- physical health and mental health. Both party, employer and the employee should take care of these health to get rid of chaos. Chaotic environment is harmful to positive productivity. A work is accomplished by it's conclusion. Without cooperation, mutual understanding and good human relation no accomplishment is possible.
