Great place to work. Meet great people and learned a lot. Worked full time from onday till friday eight hours a day. Enjoyed the work and had a great team

it used to be a very good place to work until the branch manager relocated to a different location. Unless you're in the "inner" circle, you're on the outside looking in.

The work environment is very two faced, management makes mistakes and then uses it employees as scape coats to pass the blame on. Also there are many slow periods where there is not enough work.

The management was a little slack where I sometimes had to make my own work to stay busy. No direction from the latest management

It's definitely one of the better companies I worked for. That being said, the person in charge of you definitely changes everything. I've come across some really intimidating supervisors in the past and that was the only time I really wanted to quit but overall it's not too bad. I learned quite a bit about low voltage and that really helped my electrical career.

Worked here for 4 years, was pretty good at first but soon realized that the foreman rely heavily on there coworkers to build there jobs. Me and few other journeymen quite around the same time, as a result they had to hire multiple apprentices to replace us. The foreman fortunately got fired because of his incompetence. This was the normal foreman attitude, float and rely on their crew. Selfish

More work for same pay. Good coworkers. Do not inest in you ss sn employee eg training, courses. Management not that interested in seeing that you advance or are happy in your position. Lack of oerformance reviews so you are unsure how you are progressing.

Learned about Delta control device, project and site coordination.
Also work with complicated shop drawings with a respected and enjoyable team with a lot of experience

As an applications engineer your experience at this company and this branch will largely be dictated by who your manager is. Very different managing styles across the board, the engineering group is close knit. If you are going to join the engineering team here be paitent, firm and make notes about everything. First 6 months will be difficult, it gets easier after that.

All of the people at ESC are friendly and helpful. The work was typical of an electric controls company. I've learned a lot about the controls portion of HVAC while working here. It really felt like a family which is why I was dissappointed to be laid off due to lack of work.

This company suffers from the top management right down. Lazy people who do nothing are protected and promoted. People like me who work hard get laid off. If you are not part of the core or friends with the top people you are nothing. Zero training. Constant backstabbing. People constantly screwing around doing nothing. No Raises. Office staff are always screwing around. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Foremen do nothing. apprentices work by themselves 90 percent of the time with very little direction given. would not recommend if you are looking to learn

Can be a tough place to start out at, as they have training programs for their products, but a lot of what you need to know to execute a job is learned by doing. Once you are established in your role you do feel valued and that you can be an asset for the company. The management works hard to ensure that projects are executed well, and they also coordinate company events to allow people across the company to interact and get to know each other while having fun.

Foremen, doing the bare minimum as they make it look like they are affectingly managing while relentlessly criticizing employees
in an unprofessional manner to the point every day they will be bullied to some degree and often behind their backs or alone leaving for a future surprises if they haven't already stood up for themselves.


Journeymen who are friends with foremen who are friends with project managers.

who all seem to have the same greasiness about them and coincidental seem to all know each other..

As they ALL Unfairly targeting anyone!!


When the time comes for you explain why something happen,, if it ends with pointing out their inability to affectingly manage which is why things consistently need be moved or re-done

You will understand.


That wouldn't be a problem but as anyone can guess, the foremen is constantly blaming the lack of progress on the employees working ability to the project manager., never mentioning more often then not the foreman is often off with the journeyman's, doing something completely unrelated to work.

or the journeyman is doing nothing or off with other journeyman.


Employees who have been there long enough, all seem to know the problem is management but know the Culture that is this company now has promoted the real issues leaving many good skilled people

unemployed after being poorly treated.


Foremen/journeymen's who spend more time gossiping during their work day, have got good at covering their selfs to project managers.

Pm's who don't care to find out what is really going on at their sites or never do
