Sitting at a cubicle and making out bound calls may seem easy but working here is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. I highly suggest that YOU DO NOT WORK HERE (unless you are really desperate but even so, I don't recommend this job to be your top choice). Let's list some reason as to why this place is the worst place to work ever.

1. Ridiculous unrealistic expectations. At the beginning of every shift, you are given a quota of survey calls to complete. The thing is these quotas are insane, considering that you can't just expect everyone you call to participate in the surveys.

2. Terrible disciplines. Expanding on the quotas that you need to complete, if you do not reach the quota then expect to receive fewer shifts. This isn't a direct penalty but it is a shady move. Moreover, they other petty things that they penalize the employees but I do not care enough to remember them. Did I mention, you are measure by a demerit point system. You do something wrong and you'll get demerit points.

3. Not good for your health. The environment there is simply toxic and not healthy for you mentally and physically. You are stuck there 5 hours or 8 hours if you work weekends in a small cubicles making calls and you are given only a short break per shift. Not to mention, the are some people that you'll call who are straight up rude and will curse the heck out of you. On top of that, the supervisors do not provide any consolidation/advice when you encounter these moments. If anything, they are very cold and hard to approach. Don't expect human resource to help you out either. They are hardly ever

I have so much to say that I just dont know how to say it. Long story short. Horrible horrible company overall, DO NOT and I mean do not work here if you value your dignity! Been here 6 months and I must say, of all the places Ive worked, and Ive washed dishes before, this has to be the worst. Just not worth it. Run and dont look back.

The demands are unreasonable, the calls are outgoing (doing surveys) and the quota for each survey was told to you starting of your shift (ex: get 3 surveys ppl to finish the survey). Long surveys sometimes 0.5-1h long and if the person hung up and didn't finish the survey then it didn't count. Each month the average of your productivity would be published (meeting quota =1) if you met the quota or exceeded than your shift would pretty much be guaranteed if not, the amount of shift received would dwindle. They actively recommended to lie and dodge questions from clients (such as how long is the survey, are we almost done etc.). Many supervisors quit without mentioning employees.

Not a good work environment. Job performance is evaluated by a demerit point system. If you gain a certain number of points for "undesirable behaviour" such as absence and not achieving the expected rate of surveys completed per hour, you are fired. If you are not achieving the expected number of completed surveys per hour, your next shift and possibly more shifts will be cancelled. Also, full-time shifts are during the day only, and part-time shifts are in the evening only. So there is no guarantee of a steady paycheck.

Where do you start?

Here are the pros:

Flexible scheduling - you can work any 4 shifts throughout the week, 5 hour stretches

Easy to get - super informal interview, not very much in terms of requirements.

Communication - this job is a great way to build communication skills with people (even considering the cussing and rude people). Thickens your skin. Wonderful experience in this way.

Other Interviewers - you will meet some fascinating people that you can have great connections with. Cherish these friendships and stay close to people that you can trust. Having a positive attitude here is critical not for success, just for survival.

Here are the cons (and there are MANY):

***Please be aware that the above was stated simply as a way of letting you know that there ARE in fact some benefits that you can derive from this position, if you'd like to perform it. This list of cons, in my experience, will far exceed anything you read above in terms of positivity. If you have to take the job, take the skills you learn and leave as soon as you can.

- Political toxicity of the environment. Management is hyper-political; they've got their cliques and favourites. Stay away from these guys and you'll be OK. All companies have this to some extent, but it's just putrid/festering here. These are a bunch of middle managers that will likely work the same positions for the rest of their lives. If you have any personal standards at all, which you should, management will play mind games with you. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

- Unfortunately, the flexibility of scheduling

You spend every minute of every hour making calls. if you're ok with getting hung up on, yelled at or cussed out by the people you call for surveys, then go for it. Managers are nice and rude at the same time if that makes sense. The first $200 you make they keep until your last paycheck, the only way to get the $200 back is if you put in your two weeks before quitting. I tried to put in my two weeks and literally got ignored so I just left and they kept my $200.

A typical day includes calling clients, taking your breaks, and getting back to work.

I learned how to survey clients which included some things like:

- questioning and probing professionally

- listening and understanding customers' feedback

- providing a solution where possible

The workplace was fun! Met some of the awesomest co-workers, management was very helpful and communicative, and this place IS NOT an ordinary call-centre!

Hardest part of the job was reaching 100% of the daily goals but the most enjoyable part was knowing you had co-workers and management who were there for you.
Points positifs
flexible scheduling and pay

I have been consistently put on calls where literally no one answers the phone, I'm calling people who have been called 20 times prior and still won't answer. So now I'm being penalized for it, and they have decided it is my fault. Honestly it's not worth your time, go work somewhere for the same money, where they actually care about you and not just their favorites

They give very little training . Take $250 off of your first pay check. They treat interviewers like garbage. Lots of ridiculous arbitrary rules.
They tell you to ask for help if you’re having issues meeting target. they don’t give useful advice and act annoyed that you even asked.

They expect maximum effort for minimum wage. Very shady business on multiple levels .

Honestly the job itself is very easy and it’s kinda fun if you get good at it. However, the expectations for every phone call are strict and it’s for quality. The real bad part of this company is their management and HR departments. For example the HR women lives in California and monitors the workplace via cameras spread all of the call floor. Whilst I was there I witnessed a girl get thrown on the floor by another employee. Although they did fire the employee they essentially forced the girl to leave. They have no respect for their employees and it’s sad.

The only time you should work here is if you are super desperate for money. Even at that they literally take almost half of your first pay for collateral, like what even is that.

The only reason you'd work here is if you're desperate for money or are still looking for work. The employee turnover rate is comically high. People quit weekly. They rely on people in debt to sustain their numbers.

This job focused on professionalism while in contact with customers. Promotes a positive workplace which is helpful. A great first job as it is not too demanding but this job teaches you a lot about customer service.

I worked for this company for over 6 months and near the end I wanted to junp infront of a bus because of how POOR the management was. If you want to meet rude, ill minded people then work here and you'll see.

The hours are just as poor as the management. For example; if you have a part time job (4 hours) and you have to get 5 surveys and each survey is an hour long, guess who doesnt get to work for the next week since you didn't meet heir quote of 5 surveys? You. So yeah.... don't work here its . Just.... ugh

Productivity scheduling

If your performance is low expectations of less hours should be kept in mind. Cancel lots of shifts too. It is a very fast pace environment. All you do is make calls every minute of every hour.

This shouldn't be a job to consider for a life time.
