Management/Head Fashion Consultant (Ancien employé) – New Glasgow, NS – 1 janvier 2015
First off, I loved this job and the one and only reason I left this job was because I decided to move to Alberta, now I'm hoping to get a similar job in the Halifax area.
My typical day at work started when I arrive an hour or so before I opened the store, just to prep everything for the customers and I didn't have to while I was working with them. I kept the stores in top cleaning order and everything had it's place. i would price, organize and display all new orders that came in, in a timely manner. If the orders came in while the store was open our clients had my 100% attention. Not a person would enter the store without a greeting from myself or my fellow co-workers. This job wasn't just a job for me I had a chance to learn about the clients on a personal level and their needs once they came in, it is a friendly environment. When someone comes into the store and they need your help with finding an outfit for a funeral or a wedding, you have to understand their style and what they would feel comfortable in. I was management so I'm going to say a little about the owner.. She has shown me that anything is possible and I truly will forever be grateful for the fact that she hired me, and making me understand what real customer service is. Being management isn't always easy and with co-workers not always agreeing on schedules I had made. But that is something I was always great at, making a happy work environment.
