We pride ourselves on full transparency in all our dealings. Therefore, during every job interview, arrival time and the pressure of the job during the busy season are discussed with each candidate and it is at this time that we discuss performance bonuses as well. It is common business practice in client serving positions, not just at Easy Links Financial Inc., for the Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to their shift. During that time our CSRs settle in and get ready to serve clients, for example, preparing a coffee from our office coffee machine. Although during the probationary period, the paid administrative training, and the paid broker training, performance bonuses are not granted, Easy Links Financial Inc. does reward team members who successfully pass the Accident and Sickness provincial exam with an immediate one-time bonus or salary increase. Additional salary increases are also granted once the individual begins to independently serve clients (including all our products Visitors, Travel and Students insurance) following the paid broker training. Regular performance bonuses are granted 3 times per year based on specific Key Performance Indicators.
Understanding how tiring the Customer Service position can be at times, Easy Links Financial Inc. has paid mini breaks to give our team time to refresh throughout the day. In addition to the paid mini breaks and although it is the Ontario Employment Standard for the 30-minute lunch break to be unpaid, Easy Links Financial Inc. does pay the lunch breaks for our team.

Our team works 8 hours a day, which includes a 30-minute paid lunch break and mini paid breaks throughout the day, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. There are times when an employee is in the middle of a client call at 5 pm, therefore must finish the call with the client and any urgent follow-up paperwork for that call prior to departing for the day. This is standard in any customer service position for any company. Our statistics indicate that these cases usually occur several times throughout the year during the busy seasons when clients travel more and typically take no longer than 30 minutes. Contacting the team via messenger to check if anyone needs help with the workload; at least once a month management will also meet with each person to discuss if they have any concerns regarding the job or just to make sure that everyone is doing well in general.
Easy Links Financial Inc. partners with 8 major insurance companies to provide our clients with insurance coverage that will best suit their needs, and with this comes the challenge to be knowledgeable of the individual business rules for each company. Some may find this stressful, along with the fast-paced nature of the business busy seasons. However, our superb paid training programs, which include detailed manuals and in-person training with a dedicated trainer have been established to address these concerns. Additionally, it’s all hands-on-deck during high volume times, wherein management and the team answer calls, prepare mail, updating client files etc.
Currently Easy Links Financial Inc. team members work 8 hours a day, which includes a 30-minute paid lunch break, Monday through Friday.
