Management was easily the worst/most shady

I cannot say for any other ESM out there, but this review is for the location I worked at. This does not apply to any other East Sides out there.
This East Sides was the absolute WORST due to the childish, hands off approach employed by the General Manager and owner.
They employ guilt tactics on their employees on the regular, they drink and party at their own bar, they flirt with their female employees, they shove their work load on everyone else, they ask for free labour... I could go on. They're incredibly shady. You cannot go to these two supposed "leaders" with any problem, lest they accuse you of being the problem.
A majority of us are paid min wage and are expected to do and juggle a mountain of work. By the time I left, the remainder of the kitchen was incredibly understaffed to the point that the management tried to force the kitchen to word more than they usually do.
All of the equipment is breaking down, and at least half the fridges do not work correctly.
The management will not give you a raise no matter how much you sacrifice for them.
The only real positive I can say about this ESM are about the bonds I created with my co-workers. This place is such a toxic environment due to the managements that we all work hard for each others sake to make this place as bearable as it could be.
Please do not consider working at this location, especially in the kitchen. You will hate yourself if you do. Find a place that will respect you.
