People were nice that work. Write a test, hot and dirty. Only get 80% of wage due to the union contract which I found unfair, for doing the same work as the senior guys. Very high turnover rate. Management hard to understand heavy accent. Also have to have physical done prior to highering.
I loved my job until there was so much turnover in management that it no longer resembled the same company. New management created a toxic work environment and also created office politics where none had previously existed. I did find out later that this person was unable to keep employees at previous companies and had been described as a monster to work with. I was done by the time I was done there.
Management, toxic work environment, owned by an equity firm and nothing but the bottom line matters
Worked there for about a month, training was easy, as you will learn the job very quickly. Depending on the trainer, mine was informative but too full of himself. The starting pay is good for an entry level position. But the negative thing about this place are the people you work with and the equipment is old and poorly patched together. Very toxic work environment, everyone there is so miserable from start to finish. Old employees have no respect for anyone of higher management.
Pay is decent
Hot, dirty, coworkers

This has to be, without a doubt, the worst place any young person could want to work. The factory is derelict because of the amount of money their employees cost, all having worked their for years under a very handsome collective agreement ( of which no one but them is privy to should you start working there ). Their methods are so antiquated that if they were updated their staff (which for the most part is 50+ years old) would fall by the wayside so fast they would not be able to call their rep and picket fast enough. Slime.
Back stabbing and ill-manured employees who will go at any lengths to jeopardize you if you don't click with them or don't part take in their gossip. I've seen throughout my time there a handful of good employees who were unfairly dismissed. Not a good place for a long-term
Local management is committed and strong, however facilities are old and in need of updating. This results in a requirement for fast-paced decision making as multiple responsibilities are juggled on a daily basis.
Used to be a good company to work for until management made close to $100m in a buy out and now existing employees have to pay for this. Moral is terrible, everyone is overworked and does not have time to look for a new job, new hires usually leave within 6 months and US Hedge fund managers have no idea what is going on. Due to slow economy for several years salaries are not competitive and no adjustments made. Terrible place to work Avoid working here
Hard to think of any
Compensation poor, toxic environment, no leadership
12 hr. shifts 7-7 Very fast pace, no time for breaks or lunch break. Very dirty, dusty, and wet But overall, I enjoyed working here...was not given a chance to prove myself....
Bought by an Investment Company. Restructured people that knew what they were doing. I guess they were looking for lower salaried people to take over our jobs. No Social functions not even at Christmas time. Expect to work "free" overtime as well. Your opinion also does not matter even if it can benefit the company.
Christmas plant shut down.
Very low morale and back stabbing. Not a team player environment
Hard work not recognized and taken for granted . Very hard to get vacation time off. Union employees get %100 benefits . Salary employees % 80 benefits. 120 % daily production not recognized .
been in business for years
No breaks ...high stress ...poison environment
This used to be a private well run company and has been recently been purchased by an Investment firm. Plant is being turned upside down and made "lean". They have increased upper management and reduced middle management. Belief is that parent company looking to flip and make a quick profit
Great co workers
My fellow employees were exemplary ; 63 yrs and 73 yrs of age. If only the modern corporate structure reflected their values we would be headed to a brighter future. The bottom line is immediate and transient, what about tomorrow ???An upside down pyramid is going to fall. Make our foundation solid an the sky is literally our limit.....
Un-knowledgable people leading.
