Colour Maker in Etobicoke, ON
Hot and dirty
People were nice that work. Write a test, hot and dirty. Only get 80% of wage due to the union contract which I found unfair, for doing the same work as the senior guys. Very high turnover rate. Management hard to understand heavy accent. Also have to have physical done prior to highering.
Toxic work environment
I loved my job until there was so much turnover in management that it no longer resembled the same company. New management created a toxic work environment and also created office politics where none had previously existed. I did find out later that this person was unable to keep employees at previous companies and had been described as a monster to work with. I was done by the time I was done there.
Very dirty and toxic environment
Worked there for about a month, training was easy, as you will learn the job very quickly. Depending on the trainer, mine was informative but too full of himself. The starting pay is good for an entry level position. But the negative thing about this place are the people you work with and the equipment is old and poorly patched together. Very toxic work environment, everyone there is so miserable from start to finish. Old employees have no respect for anyone of higher management.
Good Dedicated team
Growing Company with major expansion and upgrades in process. Three shift operation sometimes 7 days a week. Due to chemicals being processed safety is a major challenge
