I had always maintained a good work ethic with everyone at diversified, when I had injured my knee they were pretty good for putting me to work in the office.

Great place to work if you can manage the early hours and split shifts

If you can manage waking up by 3am and reporting for work by 4:15, this is a well organized company with thorough training and safety protocols in place. Staff are friendly and help ful. Management is easy to approach and responsive

Diversified fleet of vehicles are hands down by far a well productive road automotive service company and so much more. I have soent an amazing year becoming a heavybtechnican with them in the past. Servicing various road coaches and more. This company provides a wide array of work, good communication and well knot team members.

I loved to drive, they gave me the opportunity to advance. Started from School bus type bus then coach then as a mentor and joined the training department.

Great situation

They serviced the oil sands in Fort McMurray, Ab. I drove coach to take workers for the oil sands to the job site from the camp, and back to camp at the end of the shift. I lived in the camp for 3 weeks and went home for 1 week.

A fun place to work. Different challenges daily. Split shifts takes some getting used to. Considering your average salary and the fact that you drive to work twice; not very cost effective

I worked here for over 8 years. It used to be good, best job I ever had to be honest. Then the company went very corporate and merged in management from another division that wanted to do things their way and completely annex a system that was working fine. They lost all of their best employees and can’t keep anyone.. no surprise. Hours are 24 so you’ll work shift work with one or two people max and they expect you to do unsafe work to get along.. keep searching indeed instead. Seriously.

Average company to work for as long as you agree with management. If you disagree with management and voice opinions you can find yourself thrown away as an employee. Once this happens they block you from employment with other companies that they control the hiring for.

I worked at Diversified Transportation for a total of five years as a coach operator in Fort Mc Murray.Good management and drivers,friendly and trustworthy,always willing to lend a hand.I have good memories from my time there and am a better person because of it!!

Good company overall, a little hard to get information/answers at times. They need a supervisor in the garages at all times to help direct traffic and help drivers get their buses out and get going.

For a large company they have their heads in the sand. The middle management are insufficiently trained or educated and this leads to favouritism and nepotism.

A typical day at work involved being assigned a task from the shop supervisor and performing assigned tasks to the best of your ability in a timely manner. Tasks included performing scheduled PM inspections and repairs as well as any adhoc repairs which operators may have found on pre and post trip inspections. The best part of the job was definately the ongoing training that each member of the maintenance team had a chance to attend. The training personnel they had on staff were extremely knowledgeable with all components and were always available at a moments notice to assist with troubles which you may have encountered while performing repairs. Other staff were always willing to help out whenever a problem surfaced and you were treated like an equal. The management was top notch - always approachable and they treat staff like family. As far as the hardest part of the job goes, I would have to say some miscommunication between departments but those sort of things happen in a fleet maintenance shop. Overall, if you are a looking for at a job with this company, I highly recommend applying, as the work is good, steady, the atmosphere is great and the people you will work with are great people who will go the extra mile to make you feel like you belong.

I enjoyed my time being employed with this company. A typical day for me at this company would be picking up workers and taking them to their designated work spot and picking them up after their work day and dropping them back off at the same pick up spot in the morning. I would have to fill out daily paper work also.

Drove workers from camp to the job site and picked them up at night. Learned to sleep in the morning after breakfast and my first run were over. Management was pretty easy to get along with. My co workers were fun and for the most part easy to get along with. Hardest part of the job was Wed. night. It was still an early morning but that night was late pickups from the airport and you still had to get up early the next day to do your run. The most enjoyable part was the driving and the guys I drove. They were friendly and respectful and it was a pleasure to go to work,
