The receptionist and internal staff in Toronto are not available to answer phone calls during business hours in urgent situations
Cheques are not issued properly or they get lost
Reissuing cheques is a long process
Getting paid on time is highly unlikely
The company does not use e-transfer or direct deposit or any other method other than cheque for paying its independent contractors. Follow-ups need to take place on a daily basis to make sure things are going as planned
