Good manager and coworkers. I enjoy the job and people work with. I have never had any problems talking to my manager or resolving any issues with him. Look forward to continuing a good working environment for many years to come.

Toxic management No pay advancement Horrible communication.Micromanagement. Bully environment from supervisors. Unable to ask for help without getting scolded. Understaffed.Expected to take on a huge work load without any support or understanding. (Extremely high pressure!) Constantly being told you're not doing enough because the company refuses to hire more staff and keep up with the capacity of the mall.Promised raises with no results.

This place is a diaster. Management is awful. They will create drama over the smallest discrepancies, or absolutely nothing by making stuff up, just to keep their jobs interesting. They have very unfriendly and unprofessional tones and mannerisms with which they conduct themselves towards you. They have fragile egos, which result in huge powetrips.If it weren't for them, the environment could be a reasonably chill and friendly atmosphere, but they like to complicate things a lot more than they need to be to justify their own jobs to themselves. It creates a lot of toxicity and unnecessary drama between management and the workers. As a result, there's a huge turnover rate; a lot of people don't stay here for long, with good reason. Even the supervisors don't last long. Management even put a rookie in charge as supervisor when they lost their last one. This place is very disorganized and unhealthy, almost exclusively due to horrible management.Management also performs a lot of other questionable practices, such as threatening termination over small discrepancies or, practically, non-issues, as if it comes second-nature to them. They also like to mention the security cameras around the building on a consistent basis as another means to threaten you if you even took one minute longer on your break. They will also make a problem out of you arriving 10 minutes early to work as opposed to 15 minutes early... yeah, I'm not kidding. Or signing out even a minute early, with which they threaten to dock your pay by as much as 15 minutes. They are unnecessarily strict to no end; it creates - plus...

Minimum wage, no benefits, no possibility of moving upThey take advantage of their employees. Paying them poorly, promising advancements and raises that never come. They hire anyone who applies so you end up working with the worst of worst. Lazy people who cannot do their jobs right, and do nothing but gossip and cause trouble for others. Management are obviously people who have never held a high position before, because the power tripping is unbelievable. Management looks for any reason to get you in trouble. Stating one thing then doubling back and saying another. Terrible place honestly - LOOK ELSEWHERE it's really not worth it to work there.

Terrible pay, no benefits AT ALL, coworkers with an inability to do their simple jobs, incomptent managment, gossip, difficulty getting time off, often paystubs are wrong and need to be corrected

People are fantastic. Great work environment. Minimum wage but definitely a good stepping stone job and room for growth. Would recommend working for Dexterra.

The company doesn't care about its staff refused to give them raises treating them poorly theyd don't get anything for the dedecation and hard work even while working during a pandemic they got no hazard pay no nothing the company is garbage

The management is a joke but not as big of a joke as the contract holder! They lie and manipulate staff and military about cleaning capabilities, put staff in bad situations then threaten them with being fired if they question it! A lot of favouritism happens and supervisors sit on their chairs all dayall day doing nothing, then yell at employees to work harder. Pay is not good , no benefits, no holidays, you literally get NOTHING from this company, except STRESS!!! STAY AWAY DON’T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF APPLYING DON’T WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Good place to work but to many things expected of you without enough training. Eventual possibility for advancement as it is a large company but need to be open to relocation.

This company has a very high turnover to the point that if you reach your one year anniversary, you are considered "senior". There are many problems with this company including low pay, poor hiring practices, lack of opportunity to grow, internal office politics, and general lack of professionalism. Because of the low pay (which is slightly over minimum wage), they can only attract people who would probably have difficulty getting hired elsewhere. Almost all promotions are internal, but the problem is that they have the habit of promoting the current management's best buddy and not necessarily the most qualified person. It reached the point where great managers run for the hills to work for a better company once they get enough management experience probably because they are tired of covering for incompetent staff. The unfortunate truth is that this company is overpowered by favouritism so if you are best buddies with management, they tend to give you the shifts that everybody wants to have. I also don't like how there's lack of discipline towards lazy staff. Meanwhile they take the hardworking staff's efforts for granted and they expect those staff to do the work for multiple people. The irony of this job is that coworkers and management stressed me out more than the customers. I have met some good managers and coworkers, but unfortunately most of the good ones left which made me think that they are probably too good for this company.

Was replaced as soon as I had my program area up and running well, they hired a much less experienced person for much less money and fired me without cause. The new guy didn’t last long. Upper management believes all jobs are easy except theirs. No understanding of front line work A very cheap company with extremely poor leadership and ethics. You are gone as soon as they find a cheaper way and they will not pay overtime but expect you to be available 24/7 and work weekends. Look elsewhere, there has to be something better!

There was no one who knew what they were dong. They made an assumption about you and you were branded that for the rest of the time you were there. Management was like a little kid wanting to be told how good they are. It was like working in a warzone.

I would recommend that they give a raise to their employees if $1.00 every 6 month depending what they are doing. Offer a paid time out to seek help if suicide thoughts come in ur head. Just enuff time to set up a councilor.

Being here since the inception of Dexterra, I have noticed a positive shift in the culture and values of the company. Leaders are providing opportunities for managers to display ingenuity and accountability. Some folks are realizing that they can't accept accountability and move on. A rewarding and a challenging place to be to grow a career along side a growing company

This company might be good to work for,if you are just looking for a temporary paycheque. If you are looking for advancement,respect from your managers or a way to have input... I suggest you look elsewhere. Toxic work environment and no accountability on the part of Dexterra. They talk a great game,but cannot deliver.
