Fast paced environment not meant for everyone but is good

Every company has ups and downs it’s how they adapt and I believe Dexterra doesn’t do too bad sometimes. I would recommend Dexterra but only to a certain group of people. The company is not made for everyone.

Fun place to work

Great company to work for with really great leadership. They care for their people. Typical day involves leading people and problem solving on a day to day basis. Learning is an integral part of my role and the stress free workplace environment is a strong contributor.

The amount of micromanaging is absurd for a custodial job. There are zero benefits. The pay is a joke. Management is unprofessional. There is NOTHING good about this place!

It feels like you are constantly being monitored on your moments. Your washroom breaks are also tracked. Manager keeps an eye always on your laptop and track you in an out time. If you are late by 5 mins you need to stay after 5 but it doesn’t work vice versa if you are early at work. They only think about company and no one else

Management is poor at best they treat you like a number and no one who works there main office or off site locations are qualified to do their jobs worst company I’ve ever worked for. I wish I had something good to say. Stay away!

spent a few month with Dextera at the cote gold location & for better or for worse it was of my worst job experiences to date. management rather prioritize a facade then address the general lack of cleanliness throughout the facility. If you try to address potential hazards or lack of health & safety risks to the public you will be sure to be penalized. There is little to no communication throughout the staff & I would recommend only taking this position as a last resort.
