When out in the field, you have no bricks and mortar to establish your crediblity
The first impression you make is everything
The culture of all in financial industry is button up professional business
When starting out there is leeway because it costs money to look good, and they are flexible in the beginning. However your grooming needs to be top notch. No dirty fingernails, hair groomed, clean shoes, no athletic shoes, clean teeth and most of all confidence (not arrogance), smile easily, shake hands, curiosity, willingness to learn
Business Attire. Not business casual.
