Worst place ever worked. No respect dispatch give jobs to their favourites. Whole staff r amateur. Whenever You go there to get aa job you stand on window like zombies.
Worked very hard and give full satisfaction to the employer. I learned many thing like how to drive truck safely, how to cooperate with the other drivers, how to drive safely in different conditions.
I had to help and support all the drivers, to find p/u numbers good address, i ha dto call some customers to make p/u arrengements, scedules, right truck right equipement !
Day and Ross transportation is good for newcomers in transportation, you have to work with owner operator plus you will end up working 70 hours per week for 700$ after tax with no benefits of any kind.
Points positifs
work is available all year around
Points négatifs
no benefits management don't respect truckers they deduct money without any reason
Tough on Dock ,cold in winter,,sometimes long hours can be dangerous have seen some accidents that could have been very serious.Poor ventilation in winter, Many propane lifts dirty. I pushed myself to my limits because management believed in me was very inspiring. To many management changes where hard to deal with. Hardest thing about the job was keeping organized and not make mistakes. Had a new forklift wich was a bonus. Best thing about the job was the end of the day.
Points positifs
good pay
Points négatifs
work was long and could become overloaded if wasnt careful.
