It depends on if its a seasonal position or not. If it's seasonal, they usually do these things called drop-in interviews. So they select a time slot (example: 1 PM-5 PM) and a date and you show up whenever between that time slot. Usually it's a first come first serve idea, so you want to get there as early as possible.
If its just for a regular sales position, usually in the past they have done group interviews, I don't know if they still are.

It took roughly one week to get hired. I attended a group interview and heard back later that week.

No dress code per say, but now QC stores have to follow stupid MAPAQ regulations by wearing hair net, no jewelry and no nails done....

Honestly, just have a positive vibe to yourself. The interview questions are pretty standard. As long as your enthusiastic about customers and making sure they receive the best experience possible, then you should be okay! Just stay calm and have fun with it! The person who is interviewing you had to go through the same process, so they know how it feels. Always ask questions too, they love questions and will often hire those people who asked them a minimum of three questions. Here are a few in case you need a little help:
-What's your favourite part about working at DAVIDsTEA?
-What kind of things will I be doing?
-What are you looking for in a tea guide/seasonal tea guide?
-What qualifications are you looking for?
-If you were a tea which one would you be and why? (This one is good if you know the teas well enough!)

I worry about the massive over-hiring and lack of hours for tea guides. It's impossible to find GREAT staff who is willing to stick around if there are no incentives to keep them there.

Réponse du

Laid back, great coaching to improve your skills, great feedback also when positive.

You work shift of 4hr - 8hr, stores usually open at 10 and close around 5. However, some will be open till 9pm when in high season depending on the location.

Jeans and a nice shirt is usually the best way to go for an interview with them.

Réponse du

It’s becoming very alternate products based. Not so much on the tea these days
