Employees are not treated as human beings but as commodities. No perks offered to people working with contracts. Don’t hope for long term employment if it’s a retail site - 90% of the employees are fired each year after new year. HR did not address employees concerns ; the management was indescribably bad. Never near excellency.
A few social activities once in 3 months
Stressful, exciting, lots of travel, competitive in nature and paid well. Good management structure and very clear job descriptions. Lots of travel through out the world

constant pressure and stress at this company. they want you to work like a robot and even consider you as a one. nothing new to learn, no creativity or learning but just work like a machine.

The team is collaborative and improvises your role in the sales team however there is favouritism which often benefits the selected few. Many employees often feel demotivated when they are not offered a chance to advance. The new supervisor showed the least interest to help me transfer into a new role.
Favouritism, Very slow advancement
DHL Management is often like a roller coaster, we had been at the lowest point at certain time, but at specific time we are awarded with praise and commendation. A typical fast-paced and customer oriented management that can easily changed according to customer will and satisfaction. The best thing working in this environment is a continuing learning and training provided to us. Free Tailor made training to fit the upcoming challenge a head. This training is a MUST for all parties based on functionality or related demand on the Job. I think the hardest part of the job is trying to convince customer at one end as well as elaborate any explanation to higher management regarding the performance.

Nothing to say have to experience in their own no comment but like in usual company many office politics not for normal people who just like to work but a lot to learn in the logistics the business model DHL adopts is workable and viable to have the small business sustainable but the IT department have to be updated with the business growth at
In terms of work ethics there are none. Too much of monitoring and measurement. Too much to learn and apply the knowledge. Too fast paced and too much politics.
The culture is amazing. Employees are truly appreciated here. All events, and there are a lot, are to show appreciation for employees. If you work hard, management recognizes it. The environment can be stressful because it is fast paced and things can change on a dime. But if you are a person that loves challenges, learning a lot of new things, and working hard to get the job done then you will find a very rewarding career here.
the people that don't know how to work properly are babied and the ones that work the hardest get double the work. trainers are also very unnapproachable, god forbid you make one mistake they will gossip and make an example out of you. culture is terrible. 100% would not reccomend working here. company is very cheap, you will hit a ceiling and not get a raise whether you're here for 1 or 20 years.

However the job is unionized which does not foster personal growth for receiving raises that reflect your abilities and you must rely on contract negotiators for salary increases. It is frustrating when positions come available and seniority is the governing factor regardless of abilities. Thrown into the fire. Christmas relief help for the rush. Little training. Very stressful. No specific route assigned. Terminated about Jan 1 as soon as slow down started.
I would still be there but I moved to Wasaga Beach Ont so I don’t want to do the drive would like to fine something closer to my home .its a good place to work
