Multiple (see below) (Employé actuel) – Edmonton, AB – 20 juin 2018
Lots of corporate culture change and redirection causing unrest with staff. Not appreciated, nor recognised for efforts.Work life balance has definitely improved over the last little while. Poor salary, but great benefits.
Long hours, expected to work overtime without compensation, poor work/life balance (it's improving, but still dismal), poor management, no clear corporate advancement
Project Manager (Ancien employé) – Edmonton, AB – 1 octobre 2019
CWB cares about their employees and sees everyone as part of the family. They are in a growth cycle for the next several years so job security for performers is all but guaranteed. Because it was a smaller company, the salaries are a bit behind the industry standards for some positions. The benefits are top notch and there are very attractive financial benefits if you decide to move your banking / mortgage with them. Some employees have been there for many, many years which gives great stability for some processes but also can create an environment of 'we don't do that here' on some fronts. Undergoing a lot of change currently - very busy.
Open leadership; family structured culture; equal opportunity employer; growth cycle
Lower than standard salary for some roles; some 'cowboy' work by leaders
Loan Monitoring Specialist (Ancien employé) – Alberta – 19 septembre 2019
Company is going through a lot of changes in recent years to compete with the big 5 banks. Benefits are great, you start with 3 weeks paid vacation and it only goes up from there. There are a lot of long term employees here.
