CWB has a 1980s mentality that I found to be very toxic. Management was resistant to change and often defended the status quo in response to new ideas. This included their core banking software - much of its design dragged out day-to-day work. They're very attached to paperwork, despite rolling out a online work management webapp. Lower-level managers seemed to be encouraged to micromanage.
The environment at Corporate Office is very fast paced and the culture is very diversified. Work life balance is important to the leadership team.
