Craftsman is the largest independently owned and operated collision repair operation in Canada. The chain counts a dedicated team of over 550 employees, a fleet of over 500 customer replacement vehicles and annual sales approaching $100 million.
The company’s founder and president, Bill Hatswell remains at the helm with his son Rick Hatswell as – plus...COO, Greg Hatswell as GM of Real Estate and daughter Melanie Allan as VP of Business Development and Sales in the USA. It truly is a family business headquartered in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
The first Craftsman Collision opened on Vancouver’s Cambie Street in the spring of 1977. We opened our first collision repair shop in Vancouver with a mission not merely to compete, but to dramatically elevate the standards of quality and service in what was a shambling, poorly managed industry. Today, the distinctive Craftsman red and blue colours project quality and reliability from Edmonton, Alberta to Suzhou, China with 40 shops and counting.
As an industry leader it is our mission to find new ways to raise the standards of quality and service in the autobody repair business and to deliver to our customers the best experience possible, every day. To do that, we depend on our team of talented, ambitious people who share our vision and passion for excellence.
Success does not mean that we take market leadership for granted. We truly value each and every customer that comes through our doors. We are pleased to say that 96% of our customers are satisfied with our quality and service and we need dedicated employees to continue to strive to reach 100% satisfaction.
Because leadership entails good corporate citizenship, the Company has donated over 1.8 million dollars to charities big and small including Lions Gate Hospital, Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Salvation Army, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Our communities have numerous worthy causes. We are pleased and proud to be in a position to help a few. – moins
