Excellent work environment with good staff. Management is helpful in the day to day dealings in the hotel. Workplace is just newly renovated and it is very clean

Overall an excellent company and management. Growth is difficult. Supervisors have a tough time in F&B, they work hard. Servers are well protected. Pay is good for morning staff. Evening staff are mostly dependent on tips. Excellent benefits. All the department heads are very approachable. Friendly. HR manager is good so is the staff, GM takes extra care n is very energetic. Overall an excellent company. F&B Mgr n management is very very helpful and they really care. Sometimes one odd supervisor acts little cocky....but a 5 star rating.

I am working approximately from last one year over there. I felt very good staff members and they are very helping in nature. I felt like home over there everyday.Everybody co-operate with others.Head staff over there is very helping and understanding.I love the working way over there.

It was a great place to work! I love getting to know the employees on a more personal level instead of treating them like a number.Food was incredible, management was very open and available.I’d definitely go back in a heartbeat.

I really liked the people I worked with. At the start of my start date, we had a great Front Desk Mgr who trained me really well. Good hours. Certain things I felt Management could have perhaps planned better for in terms of extra coverage. When they knew there was going to be a big group coming in during the overnight shift that I had worked, in one instance in particular. But not a huge deal. Maybe things have changed since I had been there. But I felt there was not a whole lot of room for advancement in terms of promotions.

short staffed for a long time, At times there seemed to be Miscommunication between management and staff, When there were fishing lodge groups, who came every summer, no regular performance reviews

Usually, the summer season is the very busy season but other season is good as well. I learned to be a part of their team or working as a team as well as enhancing my ability to facing some strategic problems. The management is all good. They are all kind to their staff.

Great staff, friendly co workers! Did not feel out of place since I’ve started working there. If there is any issue, it’s a place that you can comfortably address it without any problems.

Management staff were excellent to communicate with. They actually do hands on work themselves during the busy season, which can make it more comfortable and less stressful while working there.

If you want shifts this is a place to work as they load you with shifts 6-7 days a week with only 1 or 2 days off in between no weekends off. The management picks favourites which leads to those favourites always getting more help, leaving early, getting huge amounts of days off while others don’t, calling in sick multiple times a week while when others get punished for it. The job is overall very very tiring on your body. You will be sore all the time and have no motivation to clean your own house..

Job is neither fun nor rewarding. The pay is not great dont get lured by what they say in the interview. Management is the problem all the staff left and who ever takes the job is, short lived. Everyone calls sick you have the pleasure of covering all shifts. It's a 3 person job. In the end you would of made the same money working at the local Tim's and would of been able to balance family life. If you have no life or ambition this job is for you. They will hire anyone because no one wants this roll. 2 weeks and you will be back on indeed.

great place to work to gain more knowledge about the industry. Gained a lot of useful experience here. Management could be better and there is sometimes workplace drama. Overall good place to gain knowledge if you are passionate about hospitality. Hours are not evenly spread out.

I did food preparation work basic cooking under the supervision of the Head Chef,rotating through sections such as sauce,vegetables,fish and butchery. Maintaining high standards of hygiene I prepared the ingredients,measuring dish portions sizes accurately,dealing with deliveries and stock rotation. To start like a Commis Chef I had the chance to know about my trade,how to do to maintaining high standards for safety& health,hygiene,to use the grill and prepare the best steaks(blue,rare,medium,well-done). Like Chef de Partie I cooked fine dining,French dishes.I learned to monitoring portions and waste control maintain profit margins. I developed my cooking skills,I learned to keep a cool head,the ability to delegate appropriately and organisational flair. I loved to work under a very professional management in a multi-cultural team. I hard to stay calm and work as a part of team during the frenetic service.As chef of my section I needed to be confident enough to manage the commis chefs working with me and to give them clear instructions. I had the chance to met nice and professional Head Chefs who inspired me with new recipes,presentations and culinary techniques.

Long hours, with lots of expectations, expect everything needs to be done perfect without proper staff and equipment and sources. Or its just me that i find it this way. But the worst place ever i have worked since last 10 years.
