I really liked the people I worked with. At the start of my start date, we had a great Front Desk Mgr who trained me really well. Good hours. Certain things I felt Management could have perhaps planned better for in terms of extra coverage. When they knew there was going to be a big group coming in during the overnight shift that I had worked, in one instance in particular. But not a huge deal. Maybe things have changed since I had been there. But I felt there was not a whole lot of room for advancement in terms of promotions.
friendly co workers, decent pay, pretty consistent hours. Nice location, hotel itself is really nice.
short staffed for a long time, At times there seemed to be Miscommunication between management and staff, When there were fishing lodge groups, who came every summer, no regular performance reviews
Terrible company, unprofessional, dirty, doesn’t compensate their employees, management is weak. All employees have to learn to adapt to the environment around them. The location isn’t safe and doesn’t provide 24 hours security or maintenance.
Hands down one of my favorite jobs I have ever had. From day one it felt like a family. They make sure their employees feel appreciated. They always offer support whenever needed.
Your coworkers quickly become some of your closest friends and the best part is the free food. The problem is finding the time to eat between cleaning, filling guest request, placing orders and various other task.
No set break
As a night auditor, there isn’t much to do. Most nights were smooth, you complete your nightly audit, stock things and answer the phones. However, in most hotels you will be the only employee in the building for at least 5 or 6 hours a night so it is a very independent work environment

The previous management team did all they could to develop their people to move on. We were given our job expectations and then held accountable for them. The current team does nothing more than micromanage each team member to the point there no longer is a team, just individual drones.
Bad place to work. The owner continues to promote someone who CLEARLY isn't qualified for management just because she's a friend of the family. There have been many complaints about her from guests as well as staff yet she keeps getting promoted. It's very sad and unprofessional. The pay is very low and there's no room for advancement unless your friends with the owners family.
It's a job.
Low pay, no room for advancement. Incompetent management. Favoritism.
The management company, Titan Management, only cares about numbers. They give twenty five cent raises annually. There is no recognition of loyalty, attendance or job well done. When they closed the hotel for Covid-19, they never bothered to call me and I was scheduled that night. When I emailed them about it, they never responded.
Immediate co-workers are fine.
Just about everything else.
Coworkers are great and you bond with them quickly which is a good thing because you will be there a lot. Management leaves a bit to be desired but I work the night shift so I very rarely see them. A few of your colleagues will become friends outside of work which is really nice, discounts on rooms and food in the restaurant which tastes amazing!
Working at the Hotel gives me the opputinity to meet new people every day and to be helpful to some that really need a room especially in the cold weather.I love what i do and shift it gives me the chance to make decisions in assisting other guest.
I love to work there. My job experience is good over here in which i get all the knowledge and skill related to customer service experience. Management over there has very good communication with other team members
I am glad I made a career change. I would love if they paid the Night Auditor more, but I am satisfied overall. I work overnight so it's not real busy. I enjoy the guest that check in overnight. the hardest part is when something goes wrong and there is absolutely nothing I can do to fix it. I don't like disappointing the guest. The most enjoyable part is that I work alone.
