Having the opportunity to work here was great, however, the mindset of the work place was negative most of the time. I also had issues personally and morally agreeing with some of the cleaning requirements, like not recycling because of it being too much of a hassle.
reasonably timed breaks, independent work, always busy
childlike drama at work, negative mindsets
Before the pandemic hit, I worked full-time in the housekeeping dept and laundry. I fully enjoy my job and everyone I work with. My boss and supervisors are fun to be around and very approachable in any situation. I really liked going to work and am planning on working there hopefully for years to come. Due to the virus, however, my hours have been greatly reduced but we can always hope things will pick up again soon.
Great team to work with. Fun environment.
Work-life balanceI'm a hard worker good with peoplePay & benefitsThe pay is good at this companyOverallIt's a very good place to work the people rea nice too work a clean place to stay at home away from home we like for the guest to come back too stay this use we like having them too stay with us
Always be early for work 15 minutes, make sure your work uniform is clean neatly looking. Make sure to wear your name tag every day only take breaks when your supposed to and always clock out for lunch on time. And be a team player always greet the guest with a smile, and never ride in the elevator with guest ever. And stay out of gossip that will get you fired. And always try and do extra shifts twice a month Marriott loves that. I miss working for courtyard by marriot.
Be positive and smile
Make sure to ask about health care and pay, get a clear understanding up front
I loved working there. I was going through some personal stuff couldnt make it in to work. So it was my fault I should of talked to my supervisor. I know he would understand it was too late.
Sometimes the bistro would let us make plates for breakfast or lunch.

● Work-life balanceI do have a daughter so I usually always try to make a set schedule that’s best for the both of us.● OverallManager could be very unprofessional at times and rude. Sometimes she was more concerned about the employees outside lives that it would cause confrontation. Favoritism definitely played a big role while I worked there as well. Hopefully I can now find a better healthier job.
I would go in at 8 in the morning and sometimes not get off until 8 or 9 at night. When I first started there they would make me do every piece of laundry before leaving then after the 3rd manage ment change in a year we had to be out by 4. And were threatened daily
Very busy not enough staff. No real advancement. It made it very stessfull the gm would help a bit but we really had no real support when it counted. .,..................................,,.......... ........... ..................
The property I work at is great. I love the management and for the most part, the employees. They work with my schedule and the fact I have a sick child they're so understanding and even offer help and time off if needed. Couldn't ask for better management
I don't know what else to write. A lot of people would definitely fair well here. They've had a change over of management, and have even asked me about coming back. The management was alright truthfully it was just they put other people in charge for that moment that day etc when it wasn't a good idea, and employees would suffer consequences.
Family oriented, Professional, Courteous, Teamwork, environment.
No benefits BUT I did only work there p/t so yeah.
