I was still in the learning phase when the pandemic happened. Everyone treated me very politely and with great care. Overall I was happy to be there,even the customer were a pleasure to be around.

Discount Hotel Benefits, I had some down time early in the morning. My coworkers always were on time to relieve me.

In 2 years with this company I saw at minimum 75 employees come and go. Never could keep staff and moral is low. No good incentives. Always called you in but no benefit for being the go to person once the chaos is calmed. Wouldnt recommend until higher ups are held accountable for the lack of follow through and teamwork. No true organization on team building.

They let you know how expendable you are from week 1. You are over worked and seriously underpaid. They will make sue to cut corners with you by "forgetting" to register your benefits on time. There is no opportunity for growth or promotion.

Very nice place to work for, management always involved not just sitting in office. Learned a lot from management and associates. Loved going to work everyday. Management helps to succeed in becoming managers.

While working for this company I dealt with things that are beyond the word "work-life stress". Management never managed until Audit season was in then it was rush rush to make sure things would be able to pass. There was never a easy day at work whether it was leaks in building, guest stuck on elevators, out of items in the Bistro that was a necessity every other week, all the way to management throwing each other under the bus in order to get good reviews from the guest. I don't believe that any customer service field or is it specially Hospitality that you should be a robot. At the Marriott that is exactly what they want you to be everything the scripted which I believe does it make the customer or guests feel welcome to they can tell you're reading off a script and it feels disingenuine.

I worked at the Courtyard, and it was amazing. Not a single bad thing to say about it. The employees were taken care of, so the customers were taken care of, and everyone was happy.

It's a good company with many entry level work force opportunities. There is room for growth with management opportunities. It's a clean work facility.

Everyone I’ve ever know tho work at this hotel is out through such a test of ability that success in this hotel earns you respect and future jobs within the industry. Every hotel in the area knows what this hotel is like during busy season, it’s a fast track through the hospitality industry and into management if you put the work in.

I loved it. It was not too busy and stressful. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Wish I worked there now. Pay wasn't the best however it was fair. I actually looked forward to going to work.

Don’t be fooled. It may say “Marriott” but the management company “Rudra Management” is a complete joke. When I first started we were run by a different company and things were beyond amazing! After the buyout things went down hill quickly! Barely any training provided. Cut your hours without notice, then overwork you the next week. No time off. Property owner and manager do not care about this property at all. It may as well just go up in flames!

Here I enjoyed my teammates and the guests. I was Friendly, helpful and understanding with guests and other employees. I loved working here. I would work for them again no problem.

I was originally hired in on a set schedule working night audit.At night there isnt much guest interaction and I like that.I was part time,which means I didnt qualify for any benefits.I did get PTO and not VTO.Fulltine employees get both.They have free life insurance and affordable health insurance,plus many other,but this is for full time employees.My problem was I was Part time,but there were many consecutive weeks I work full time hours and still wasnt able to get any of these benefits.The turn over rate is very high.Ive saw many people(more than 20) come and go and I've only been there a year.I dont really work with manager but alot of my co-workers would complain when they worked with a certain mgr.Also,the mgrs come when they want.They could be on schedule and you would think a manager is coming and but they dont.Therefor the whole day there is no mgr.From my mgrs I notice I could be doing the exact same thing for a whole year,and all of sudden I'm getting yelled at becuase I've been doing It wrong.Thus that's how I trained to do it.The pay is low.where I'm located you could work at target,meijers, and get paid more.Do not work for the courtyard bistro u get paid min. Wage and have to do everything by yourself.Clean,cook,make drinks.I worked FD and it many times they wanted me to stop what I was doing to help bistro breakfast.I wasnt trained for it and all of a sudden they expect me to know how to serve and cook the sandwiches and stuff.It can be stressful. I just try to work my shift and leave.And oh,its plenty of times they call u ,when you are off,to ask question - plus...

Overall it was a good experience, I got to advance my customer service skills, guest satisfaction was a big one, and also guest recovery. I loved helping the guests that made it fun and exciting everyday.

Night Audit duties previously mentioned in addition to: Balancing the ledger and monies owed by the hotel to vendors and various accounts Processing accommodation payments Responding to phone calls and directing guest mail Assist guests with basic information and/or modifications to reservation(s). Posting the day's room rate and room tax to each guest folio at the close of business Ensure the accuracy of the charges to the guest folios, ensuring that the sum of revenues due to accounts receivable from the various departments (i.e. Food & Beverage, Sales, gift shop) Work alongside a security officer to maintain a level of security during late-night hours for both night staff and guests Balance the advance ledger and monies owed to the hotel by credit card companies, third-party commissions, and direct bill accounts. Settle invoices from Accounts Payable and schedule auto-payments for specific accounts (i.e. SYSCO, Sam’s Club, etc.)

Must have great customer service skills. Needs to have a level head and ability to de escalate issues presented by travelers in need of lodging. Be someones good day experience.

Nice quite area, fun to work here. Great if you are in school, you can get your school work done while at work. if your a mother it is also very convenient.

This job was very enjoyable. Loved my co-workers, the regular guests that stayed every week. Great atmosphere, fun, and very competative. I would recommend this job to anyone

The job was relaxing for sure and SOME management showed like they cared. Eliot McDowell is the man to be under. The most chill and respected Manger I ever seen.. Worst part is that all employees act like desperate teens lol All male employee try to flirt with the women and the women are just out there.. so becareful...
