It’s a good company wherein I learn a lot from the time I start to work and in just a few months I became a supervisor. I learn a lot from this hotel. How to deal with guest and your co-worker. I learned also how to conduct inventories and placing orders. My experience as hotel worker taught me to be calm and compose whenever you’re under pressure and always represents our hotel professionally to win more customers.
Cozy working environment
I have always enjoyed my work enviroments. Being a team player. Working alongside my teams. Challenging myself and perpetual learning.
Great place to work. Very diverse work environment. This Courtyard by Marriott was a new-build. When I started we were still under construction and wearing hard hard hats. When we opened, we still had three floors to finish. It was a fun challenge. To be able to hire a team, and put systems in procedures in-place from scratch. In the San Francisco/Silicon Bay Area spirit, we tried to run this Courtyard very loose and fun. Within certain parameters of course. I use to eat lunch with the Housekeeping team daily (they all took lunch at the same time), and we we would play fun games at the morning line-ups, and at the end of the day.
San Francisco is a challenging neighborhood.

I worked for eight years as a Night Auditor here, I gained a lot of knowledge about how a hotel is run. This property was very well run and I felt like Management actually cared for the employees.
Great Experience, Good Pay
You have to deal with entitled guests and sucky managers, however, works well with school schedule, overall work is not too bad, there are some guests who are a joy
entitled guest and managers
Everyday, I meet guests and serve them with utmost respect and care. Our aim is always to serve their needs and make sure they enjoy their stay. I learned to deal with different kinds of people since I got to meet a lot of them from different walks of life. The management is typically highly professional. And the work place demands utmost care and service to clients/guests. The hardest part of the job is to please people no matter what it takes. The most enjoyable part of the job is meeting VIPs and be able to please them with the kind of service we have.
