I got hired with the promise that I would be working the morning shift, from approximately 6:30 AM to 2:30 or 3 PM. Sometimes I might need to be called in half an hour early, which was agreeable. However, after training was completed, I was often flip-flopping between working the morning shift and the evening shift, meaning some days I would get home close to midnight, and be expected to come into work around 6 AM the following day.In addition to being a front desk receptionist, I also had to take on the responsibility of being a shuttle driver for our contracted pilots and flight attendants who stayed with us. This was one of my favorite parts of the job, but again, with the lack of sleep, it was sometimes concerning to myself being made to drive when I was functioning off only a few hours of sleep.I also noted my concerns of not being able to care for my family to the General Manager, who completely ignored my worries and asked me to provide documentation to prove that I was caring for the family that lives with me. It was at that point I decided to leave, as it became clear that I wasn't going to be given the respect as a person with a life outside work.

Management listened to what employees had to say. Treated everyone equally. Had monthly luncheons for staff. Got gift cards for outstanding service. Received cash when someone mentioned you in a positive review.
