I enjoy working with everyone we had fun at meeting's and sometimes we had a great dinner.love being around and talking-to every one and always tried too help each other.

The general manager acts like a pompous child. Is really nice when your first hired but in the two months I’ve worked here the schedules don’t come out until 2 days before you’re expected to report, if you inquire about scheduling changes you will absolutely be reprimanded. Don’t even think about reporting harassment to the GM because nothing will be done beyond you being told that YOU the reporter reported it wrong. Lower management and associates make it tolerable by how wonderful kind and understanding they are but the GM is absolutely intolerable, doesn’t really know how to do his own job and spends most of the day munching on fistfuls of sunflower seeds. If I could go back in time I would have never agreed to this job.

I love Marriott hotel they give many experiences fun etc Marriott is the best hotel for job .I work here I make many recipe and friends and this hotel change my life I like very much Marriott I want to work again in future in the Marriott

Supervisors in the housekeeping department are extremely rude and lazy. Too much authority for such little work they do. The department itself needs a whole new team, new training and alot more appreciation toward the housekeepers.

Good job for benefits and pay but it doesn't leave any room to do anything else besides work there. I recommend this job to people who want to make a career out of working in a hotel because if they like you, you can work your way up and into other departments.

Decent place to work. I’d work there again. It’s not as bad as some people make it out to be. Great hours. Great benefits. People you work with are decent.

I felt the salary was low, liked team atmosphere. No opportunity to advance my position. Work life balance was low. Having to work weekends. No opportunity to attend school classes for advancing in my field.

I did not like how the schedule was done. Sometimes I did not know till Thursday or Friday if I was working that Sunday. Could not really plan for anything. Did not know when my days off were. The work could be very hard at some points. On busy days you could run all shift and then have a lot of clean up to do.

Owners are more interested in the bottom line than staff. Often force staff to work long shifts with no breaks. Front desk staff not allowed to sit down for a whole 8 hour shift or longer at times. Huge turnover as a result. Have some events for staff but never schedule when drivers on second or overnight shift can attend and never save anything for those shifts. A real negative atmosphere. Everyone was afraid to say anything fearing they would be fired.

In 2 years with this company I saw at minimum 75 employees come and go. Never could keep staff and moral is low. No good incentives. Always called you in but no benefit for being the go to person once the chaos is calmed. Wouldnt recommend until higher ups are held accountable for the lack of follow through and teamwork. No true organization on team building.

The owners and management is amazing here! I’m sad to of left. Due to personnel issues and sickness I unfortunately had to leave a job I loved but it’s an amazing company the owner is amazing on site the hr listens to any questions or concerns you may have one of the best hotels and hotel chains I’ve worked for!

Room for growth, managers wanted for you to learn as much as possible, you can get promoted to other departments which is a good thing for growth

The staff always helped and they followed orders in a timely matter which made working there so much better. Enjoyed coming to work and handle the day to day operations. Every one was always cheery

They are flexible with hours and get discounts on rooms and fun job to work at and also go in at a reasonable hours get to take my kids to school then head to work and I liked being the manager

OverallMy experience working at Courtyard by Marriott was good. I was a worker in the restaurant/bar and it was a cool place to work. This was some time ago so things might have changed.

Overall, my experience at my workplace was positive.However, there was alot of resentment and issues between employees and the managers. In addition, the harmony between coworkers varied and the hotel could be very cliquey. In addition, I was promised the opportunity to move positions and cross-train but with my time there it never happened. This is probably a more suitable job for people in college or just coming out of. As long as you can maintain a professional demeanor, even when being screamed at by guests, you will do fine.

I worked here from Jan. 2018 up until March 2020 and came back at the end of Aug. 2020. Before it was a great fun place to work, but after covid hit I got laid off and they brought me back as a front desk agent . In that time management had left and now theres no one here . Were packed out on the weekends with no clean rooms because theres no manger to stay on housekeeping. Now all i do is get yelled at by guests for nothing i can control.
