Très difficile de garder le sourire à hôpital de la cité de santé les personnes sont très impatient et bête c’est la seule raison j’étais pas capable avec eux tu fais ton possible et on te crie les clients. J’ai adoré la gérante également.

Terrible workplace, please avoid

Place is stressful, people are okay. Management is changing all the time, and when we do keep someone they treat you terrible. No promotion possibility and job security is non existent you never know when your getting shifts taken from you and given to some new person.

They won´t care about you in any way.Management is terrible, they mostly don´t know what are they doing.Believe me...I am just waiting to find another job and as soon as I get it, I will present my resign...This is my first job in Canada and they let me down... terribly!!!

Respectful and open team to be a part of

Event based- working 5 hours at least per event, with anywhere between 3-6 others depending on the area in which you work. Getting cross trained and taught to work in different places such as in the kitchen, on cash or training others, and management did an amazing job ensuring everyone felt appreciated at work, and does whatever possible to keep an amazing dynamic and overall good environment. Everyone at work does everything they can to make sure everyone feels respected and like they have a place on the team. Working with new people is definitely difficult especially if you've never met but is easily so so amazing being able to see different perspectives on things, and the opportunity to meet countless new people.

Well they hired me, got all my information they had a week to check my drivers abstract out but waited till my first day, and told me after 6 hours of training they couldn’t hire me because of my abstract (which has been clean for at least two years)’ and had a couple tickets from the last 2 years. I arrived 15 minutes before work, signed in and got my food ready for first break Steady pace for the next four hours. Once you get use to it the job was not bad. Have to get along with teenagers. Management was easy to work with.

Compass is a pathetic company with absolutely no morals and mankind. Their Human resources department is as good as useless. The HR knows nothing about HR- they don't even have a curtsey to acknowledge an employee's email and respond to them. This company cannot do a simple thing which is to provide a thorough training to their new hires. They do have any training plans/ procedures. They thrive on favoritism and very ugly workplace politics. The units which I managed were amazing and had a lot of potential for improvement and I was well on my way to bring in those improvements despite the fact that I was not provided with a thorough training to being with. I spent all my time to train myself on the job by reaching out to the client's personnel at the unit level. Once I gained the desired knowledge at work and started applying it into projects, I noticed that there was no recognition provided at all from my supervisor. Surprisingly, the professionals from the clients team appreciated me time and again and that boosted my morale to keep going even though I did not receive the same recognition from my immediate manager. The immediate manage also withheld a lot of important information time and again but even that did not deter me from moving in one direction of progress. overall the culture at Compass that I saw was absolutely toxic, full of nasty politics, favoritism and backstabbing. The clientele being catered was a great experience to work with.

And she divulges privy information to the whole kitchen... And she doesn't get anything sent to head office because she gets it intercepted by another to destroy it...
