The Cloud5 environment is good and can be quite fun. The leaders truly care about their employees. However, the realities of today’s competitive environment means that the company has to underbid to get contracts. This leaves the company with no room to put leader development as a priority. So, if you get a good leader who has experience, you will have a fantastic time as a Cloud5 employee. If not, you will struggle through, having to support yourself until you eventually leave.

Always felt valued. Theres always someone to answer my questions and help me improve my scores. So quick to take action during covid. Would recommend this place.

I kinda regret i quit, but the hours i was getting was really stressing. if i could get good shifts, i'll probably go back to working with them. I loved working with them.

Management doesn't care about employees problems, or needs whatsoever.
Bullying and instigators present. Way too much negativity, and rarely positive, unless your a suck up, or over achiever.

Harrassment by supervisors permitted.

Can't keep any staff, because of the way they treat employees, and their pay wages are lower than other companies.

Always threatening about performance rating. Dock pay for every minute late, or when you have to go to the bathroom! Highly stressful.

Fast Paced, Lots of Multi-Tasking, Shifts Based on Shift Bid (seniority and skills) - Its a job, a call center job and it can pay well.....
The only issues on the company are that the management will say they are all about the employee and the employee needs, yet the employee and the needs seems to be the least important topic brought to the table when the time comes for discussion on what can be done to better make improvements within mangement and the company itself

oromocto center is a flipin joke. they pretend to care about u until ur done training then manager and the rest of management pick favorites and belittles your mental health,they treat ypu horribly over everything and they dont work with u on hours at all

They do not offer a good work life balance. Very competitve for schedule bidding based on some uncontrollable stats. The management team is pretty good and try to make work fun. Difficult customers make it a very stressful environment

I started with this company in September 2003 When It was called VAS Virtual Agent Service. Then it changed their name to Thing 5 the last name was Cloud 5 now that is to present. I found this was a good
company.. I worked for them for 15 years and never got a raise . Only had 3 reviews done, I know that was because of the Manager at the site but I think head office should hav made them do reviews on all agents not just a few.

Great customers, great environment since the summer, lots going on at the site, great support. lots of new changes hope to see it continue in the future

Very inconsistent hours, poor management and severe lack of employee training. I'm honestly very surprised they haven't gone under like they have multiple times previously.

Helpful staff and management. Easy to meet new people and make friends. Monthly shift bids so you can work towards a better schedule. Events regularly lots of food for staff. Could use better computers often slow

Cloud5 does make it fun to come to work, we do have different incentives. (Cash to win, trips to our hotels, days off with pay). We have Social Committee that also does fun things. (Christmas party, BBQ's, Sundaes, 50/50).

Great support from our team, not just management but by coworkers. We are all like family always willing to help each other.


We make connections with the customer while speaking with them on the phone and help them with reservations.

High turn over rate. Disgraceful management( act childish, make racially motivated or inappropriate jokes, give preference to certain staff they prefer). Zero feedback on job performance , and very clique staff. No paid lunches, very poor choice of hours. Avoid this place .

All about making the connection with the customer while speaking with them on the phone and assisting with making their reservations.

A company which does not take their employee home lives in consideration when they schedule overtime even when you tell them before you have a doctor or family appointment. They hold that against you.

This was amature hour. Technology was outdated and slow. Almost no communication between staff and employees. High turnover and they wonder why they have to keep advertising for new people?
