The Cloud5 environment is good and can be quite fun. The leaders truly care about their employees. However, the realities of today’s competitive environment means that the company has to underbid to get contracts. This leaves the company with no room to put leader development as a priority. So, if you get a good leader who has experience, you will have a fantastic time as a Cloud5 employee. If not, you will struggle through, having to support yourself until you eventually leave.

Although I have not been employed with Cloud5 for a full year yet, I have already noticed that the company is loyal to their employees and promotes from within whenever possible. The wages are fair and the benefits are excellent. Health, dental, EAP and RRSP! Opportunities everywhere to make this a career. Permanent and short term Team Leader, Coach, Trainer roles too!

I kinda regret i quit, but the hours i was getting was really stressing. if i could get good shifts, i'll probably go back to working with them. I loved working with them.

Working at the Broadview cloud 5 location is a different day everyday with an amazing team backing you you can tell the leaders really want to see you succeed and see you grow in your career. The employer is always doing in business promotions and have been the best company to work for. But like every job you have the hard days.

Management doesn't care about employees problems, or needs whatsoever. Bullying and instigators present. Way too much negativity, and rarely positive, unless your a suck up, or over achiever. Harrassment by supervisors permitted. Can't keep any staff, because of the way they treat employees, and their pay wages are lower than other companies. Always threatening about performance rating. Dock pay for every minute late, or when you have to go to the bathroom! Highly stressful. HarrHigh stress, and lots of negativity.

Don’t waste your time. The management is a joke. Very confusing No consistency at all The pay is the worst Is the only call centre I know that pays that low, CSR agents should all get paid the same get paid $13 for making reservations for high class hotels and get paid $16 for motels with bed bugs and roaches

Good place very compatible and high pressure . Constant learning. People are great. Very elite class of customer yiu deal with. Must enjoy travelling and solving real travel issues

Learned the details in the travel industry. It is not an easy job and attention to detail is required. It can be a high stress environment. It can use some refinements.

Fast Paced, Lots of Multi-Tasking, Shifts Based on Shift Bid (seniority and skills) - Its a job, a call center job and it can pay well..... The only issues on the company are that the management will say they are all about the employee and the employee needs, yet the employee and the needs seems to be the least important topic brought to the table when the time comes for discussion on what can be done to better make improvements within mangement and the company itself

Fun work place, and lots of great opportunities to learn about the world and the travel industry. But this is a very high stress job that is not for everyone.

oromocto center is a flipin joke. they pretend to care about u until ur done training then manager and the rest of management pick favorites and belittles your mental health,they treat ypu horribly over everything and they dont work with u on hours at all

Worked there for almost 8yrs. Developed curriculum and training material. Terminated 'without cause' with no warning a few months after being told that the plan was to keep me on until retirement.

They do not offer a good work life balance. Very competitve for schedule bidding based on some uncontrollable stats. The management team is pretty good and try to make work fun. Difficult customers make it a very stressful environment

Pay was good but management was horrible ... You didn’t get a choice if there was over time you had to work it ... No matter the reason you can’t make it to work it affects your score & you shift bid ... if you can’t work the hours they give you they don’t care . There not understandable & Management was rude.... I wasn’t taught had the stuff I should have been educated and they make you jump back from system to system which is hard to do

PROS: I work at the Saint John location. The environment is calm and welcoming. The job as far as to a Call Center is a decent job. There is an active Social Committee that attempts to keep regular events going for the employees. Also, the people that operate the Committee seem to take a genuine interest in what they do. The Pay Rate and Benefits are among the highest in the Saint John area (When it comes to Call Centers) Offering decent bonuses as well (Though can be difficult to obtain and are often very delayed) Scheduling is well done and Fairly calculated. There seems to be no bias or favoritism played when this is done. As well the shifts are good shifts. Offering plenty of variety for all styles of life. With a wider variety on the horizon. CONS: Management is lacking at least when it comes to being a basic agent. They promote individuals who excel at the Job itself rather than focusing on those who have Leadership capabilities (Proverbial "Yes Men" seem to be the Personality of choice). The approach or "Style" of management also leaves much to be desired. With their excuse being that they take a more hands-off approach. This offers very little interaction with your direct Leader and lessens the experience. Upper Management seems to run fairly smoothly as you often don't see Hiccups in the Day to Day. The overall Office Equipment is improving but you are often left with old-style monitors, Warn out keyboards, Chairs that are well past their prime. None that have full back support. Office space is continually shrinking with the greed of forcing more - plus...

If you enjoy a job with insufficient training, lack of coaching & support, lack of resources and then being held accountable for your co workers’ errors...then this place is for you! The pay is good for SJ but not worth the stress and amount of work you do.

I started with this company in September 2003 When It was called VAS Virtual Agent Service. Then it changed their name to Thing 5 the last name was Cloud 5 now that is to present. I found this was a good company.. I worked for them for 15 years and never got a raise . Only had 3 reviews done, I know that was because of the Manager at the site but I think head office should hav made them do reviews on all agents not just a few.

Great customers, great environment since the summer, lots going on at the site, great support. lots of new changes hope to see it continue in the future

Very inconsistent hours, poor management and severe lack of employee training. I'm honestly very surprised they haven't gone under like they have multiple times previously.
