Lies and let downs. Promises not kept. Advancement for family not for the best candidate. They let guys they like get away with murder and fire others over hear say
Good time on time off
Safety and training is paramount at Clean Harbors. Great group of people, good work environment. Great team work. Nice work environment. Shift work for my division was 20 days in 10 days off. Overtime hours were paid for shifts over 8 hrs long and 44 hrs per week. Days go by quickly as accommodations were on site.
You can learn alot at this place. there are lots of different jobs that this company does. If you want to learn new things this is a good place to work. you have to be a fast learner and catch on quick. Management needs more experience in dealing with employees.
Poor comunication between management/workers, long hours

I'd recommend anyone that has a class 3 or 1 drivers license to work here. Good work / home life. Not much trouble to get a bit of extra time off for special occasions. Safety is top priority with this company, or at least where I worked it did. Management was pretty good as well. Easy to talk to but very professional.
It was a potential opportunity that lead to nowhere. You are literally just a number and with 0 support. There is never a way for you to be able to contact management when you need them and your literally left on your own demise. P&V sector has no growth and you will always remain in the same position.
I worked for clean harbors for 13 years , your a number and will get treated as such. You should be lucky to have a job and will have to kiss butt to say thankyou.
Poor management in my division.
Save your money for you future, bad benefits.

Good shifts, good pay, good co-workers, can't complain. Would recommend it to the right person. Bear watch is pretty straight forward and rather easy if you can handle long hours. Offers of overtime are always available if you need as well which is a bonus in and of its self.
One of the most unorganized companies I’ve ever worked for. Training and office management were great to me but when it came to field supervision....just awful. Working in -40 weather with thin summer coveralls and they said they were supplying winter bibs an coveralls and didn’t ( I offered to bring my own ). Overall a big failure in the Hydrovac department. They talk a big game but don’t know anything, in fact the manager has never even run a Hydrovac truck ......lol.
Great training, great office management and great camp
Poor communication, poor field supervision and just about everything else.
Well fort mac is union and be prepared to sit and not 1 or 2 days if you're under a yr seniority you could sit 4-9 days outta your 21 . That's really the only bad part I found besides the typical useless union crybabies
Hard to make money sitting
If you’re a buddy lots of hours. If you’re not a buddy then expect to be treated poorly. Policy, procedures, and safety are only looked at when it’s convientant to them. Work shift recently changed to have a bit more home life. Training was supplied great company to get all your tickets with. Workers get the lower grade camp rooms. Expect to be packing and moving a lot. Overtime is 8/44
Supplied camp, overtime after 8/44
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this company. I would still be there had the company not restructured and eliminated my position. The hardest part about working there was being away from home.
being away from home
Awesome coworkers good equipment awesome housing. Enjoyed my time working with Clean Harbours would return in a heartbeat management needs more experience
Enjoyed my time
More management help for staff
Work is not based on skill level, only how long you have been with them. Be prepared to sit in camp unpaid waiting for work. Coworkers whine a lot if you do get a chance to work because in their mind you have taken the job away from them. No one wants to help train you on different trucks because you are the competition for jobs then then. Terrible work culture, nobody takes pride in their work, just do enough to not get kicked off of site.
East coasters that believe they are better, not equal.
horrible place to work. I find that management has a reactive safety philosophy. They should be on their game before incidents occur. They also will scold you for any lottle thing and blame the worker. They lie and have no remorse. I've been there 10 years and this is whats become. save the trouble and find another company.
getting all of tickets paid for
everything, dishonest management.
Had some good years there until change in upper managment ,since this moral is very poor other managers are looking for work elsewhere four key people left within three months.
No life work 7 days a week
