Working frontline has many challenges. You are regularly interacting with families in crisis and must deal the with issues they have in a professional manner. There are physical components to the job, moving and lifting as well as time on your feet. Administratively there are Log Books, Narratives and Incident reports to complete as needed. It is also shift work.
Management was very experienced and very supportive. They stood behind their employees 100%. Opportunities to gain new certifications/qualifications were ample, team building on a regular basis. Loved the job.
