Because what I see the Rec dept's not doing and not adhering to national governing bodies and papers, it is so frustrating; part of the frustration is that they never look for professionals in the field...they only look to promote those from within the corporation and who most likely do not have any background/experience in the field prior to being promoted to whatever role they happened to land it.Réponse du 17 septembre 2020
How many weeks on average does it take for HR to contact applicants for an interview after a job ad closes?Posée le 10 septembre 2017
Less than 2 days for them to reject an application when the candidate is more than qualified for the role...confusing, I know! (not a very positive place for candidates/to apply to).Réponse du 17 septembre 2020
Make sure you're prepared for the interview and any questions they may ask. Have all of your certifications ready and be confident.Réponse du 12 mai 2018
Quels conseils donneriez-vous à une personne ayant un entretien chez City of Mississauga Canada?Posée le 28 novembre 2019
R-U-N! seriously - if the recruitment/interview/hiring process doesn't kill you, the favouritism, lack of hours/pay, nepotism, etc will. Seriously you'll age 10 years in any role cause literally you won't move to any other position in that time, even if you are highly educated, experienced, and go above & beyond in your role. Actually you are punished for going above & beyond - unfortunately (it's almost better to not do anything at all than to do your job - they think they have changed, but you'll understand why so many taxpayers hate municipal employees; they are lazy, unprofessional, and do not actually do the job they are hired to do).Réponse du 18 septembre 2020

Quelles sont les étapes du processus de recrutement chez City of Mississauga Canada?Posée le 28 août 2017
There were two interviewers and they asked a few technical questions but most questions were about real life situationsRéponse du 12 février 2019
Stop discarding highly qualified and experienced candidates from your application pool! less than 2 days after someone applies is not respectful and or ethical, to receive a rejection letter when the candidate(s) are more than enough experienced/qualified for the position they applied to. Such a joke, especially when the rec dept will look at your profiles (noticeably) and then take such negative actions and when you look at their online profiles...they don't meet their own job qualifications (so backwards, in the municipal environment; just stick around long enough and you'll be promoted into some kind of full time unionized tenure position, even if you don't meet the requirements for said job, lol).Réponse du 17 septembre 2020
