Meticulous hiring is what it is called. You will have a phone interview and 2 more interviews with people that you will probably never work with and people that are not even part of the department hiring. They want to hire the correct people but somehow still hire the wrong ones.
The work environment is generally high energy. Which can be stressful. There is definitely a us vs them type attitude between supervisors and management and SSR's and plant staff. So those two things play a large part in workplace stress. Plus if you are an SSR you have to deal with customers who can be challenging.
Generally, I chalk it up to that's why they pay us what they do. .
Prepare well! It is a very intensive interview process. First you will be screened then, you will do a separate interview with HR, Manager and the GM
