Un des meilleurs employeurs sur le marché, on se sent à sa place.

Franchement rien à dire, CIBC est une compagnie très axée sur l'employé, pour une fois je sens que je suis évalué à ma juste valeur. Si t'es quelqu'un de motivé et d'assidu, les possibilités d'avancement sont infinies. Le travail est plaisant et n'est pas du tout stressant, les collègues de travail sont très amicaux et sont toujours prêts à aider.L'hiérarchie se sent très peu et on ne se fait pas taper sur les doigts quand on fait des erreurs. Compagnie très inclusive, l'équipe est très diversifiée et on sent qu'on appartient à la même famille. Assurances gratuites pour toute votre famille, régime d'achat d'actions, fonds de pension, possibilités de télé travail et plein d'autres avantages de bien être.

Not flexible with work / life

It has good courses and that help with knowledge develpment... Keep your personal goals and life to yourself as Some of the employees are extremely envious of others and that is not nice. If you stay from the gossiping mouths you can progress.

CIBC has good benefits and other perks. There is lots of micro management but overall it is amazing place work at given all of the tools needed to be ready for your role

Busy workplace

my branch is in a very busy location, we have to help more than 80+ client every day. But the manger is not supportive at all. she is not willing to help when we have difficulties, make it become a very stressful workplace.Also, the salary is pretty low.

Fast paced and can be stressful. Good helpful people and management!

It's basically telephone banking through chat. It's a face paced, never ending work from the beginning to the end of your shift and can be stressful at times, however you will learn a whole lot and you will be provided with the tools required to succeed in this role as the team and management are quite helpful.There's also room for advancement and this experience will certainly set you for a future in banking.

Worked at CIBC for almost 20yrs. There are lots of opportunities and good benefits. You need to out the extra effort in and while work life balance is discussed, the balance falls to work in order to take advantage of the opportunities.

Good place to start

If you want to get into fund accounting, it's a good place to start with plenty of opportunities to learn. Due to high turnover, you may swamped with work, and you may do overtime.

Challenging

Id say this job is for people who are able to endure and have long patience. Most of the time youre dealing with irritated customers who might end up taking it out on you just because its easier to be rude to people on the phone rather than in real life. The benefits are great, But with the stress that comes along with it- i just personally couldnt take it. I dont think they do much to take care of the employee’s emotional well being either.

Just a regular bank

The company and the benefits are ok, you have medical/dental insurance, share buying program. What I dislike the most they offer free parking spaces for their clients but not for their employees. There are lots of miscommunication between departments.

Friendly staffs

Management is very friendly. Shift work available. Dealing with new clients everyday. So training is provided before getting on the platform. Meetings are conducted every morning. Gifts are distributed to employees every Christmas.

high turn over

high turn overJoined a few months back and it's amazing to work with the people around with such a depth of knowledge and experience. The work culture is great, there is flexibility to balance work and personal lives. Pretty decent hybrid work model.The only downside is the salary and benefits. Not very competitive. Could be compromised if your goal is not just money.I recommend to all my professional colleagues.

Working here is really good, managers and coworkers are very nice. No problem at all, and Christmas bonus is generous. Work life balance is good too, havent had any issues

Toxic work environment. Managers do not care about your career development and will block you from advancing if it benefits them. Short staff causing employees to overwork.
