Steady job, can count on job security, however not much on any advancement opportunities. Immediate management and work team is excellent, however when it comes to middle and top management it is not the case.
Most enjoyable part of the job is advising clients and building financial plans that actually helped.
The hardest part was to maintain a balance between helping clients and actually selling them as much as possible of the banks products and services which are not suited for everyone.
Typical day, started with, client follow ups on upcoming appointments, building financial plans and reviewing them with clients, analyzing investment portfolios, working on credit deals and completing mutual fund files and writing summaries and charting notes.
