For the past 27 plus years I’ve been with CIBC with increased responsibility and excelling in all areas of the business. In my current role as Personal Banker Associate and previous role at CIBC as a Manager Client Experience, I have ensured consistent delivery of high quality service by overseeing day-to-day activities to achieve business goals, operational excellence and demonstrated strong initiative and self-managing skills to work independently with little direction and to respond effectively to issues as well as potential issues that may arise in all department of the business.

Generally overworked. Doing about 3 people's jobs, while also being the principal point of contact for all client issues. Also expected to resolve those issues. Expected to work overtime without being paid. Very little as far as positive reinforcement or incentive to perform. Numerous promises of job and career progression, but no delivering on those promises. Left the company because I believe they want to keep me in my role and not promote because I am too valuable to them in my role and the only way I can continue to move up is to move out.
Points négatifs
Long hours, stressful job, only dealing with disgruntled customers, responsibilities continue to increase, pay does not

- Friendly Environments, working with others from different backgrounds is fun as you learn from each other.
- Enjoyable part for me is handling the paperwork or jumping cash (if need be) as the day goes by faster but you learn a lot and develop those everyday skills
-Hardest Part was managing your team in terms of coaching, doing huddles in the morning, mostly because of the unfamiliarity in how to approach it and make things positive for everyone to get motivated on a certain basis.
