Worked here for over two years. The managment is toxic. Don't get paid enough. High stress levels. No breaks. Toxic work environment. CBI will throw its worksers under the bus if they are themselves getting into toruble.

Terrible work place for all positions

I worked here for a bit and I would consider this work place to be rather disgusting. The program manager I have seen bully her supervisors by talking down to them, not being supportive, and talking behind their backs. The higher up managers and HR do nothing about these incidents because they are all friends. You are always made to look like the bad person. They over load their staff to the point of break down, they mistreat their staff, they do not value their staff, and they don’t pay their staff well at all and never give raises. They also do not show any appreciation for their staff. Horrible company to work for, Steer clear and get a job where you’ll be appreciated and treated like a valuable team member!!!

This is a horrible organization

The management has no concern for the safety of their staff and would rather save money rather than follow international precautions with HEP A and C by not wanting to provide safety wear for staff. The coordinator is not friendly and is quite moody. I felt bad for the individuals who were subjected to this terrible work environment. This company has changed names a few times to escape their reputation. This is a for profit organization, so the money they receive goes towards their pockets, and the people they provide housing support for are subjected to horrible staff with no education or training. We were told at one staff meeting that the only way we could contract hepatitis was if we were to drink a four liter jug of feces. This was to encourage us to put our own health at risk. Do NOT waste your time with this terrible organization.

Horrible place to work at. The managers treat their employees as expendable. All that matters to them is the profit that they are making. The management is horrible. I'd receive too many clients in a short period of time and therefore was constantly in a rush. Furthermore, they'd change my clients at the very last minute or cut my hours out of nowhere. The clients are very, very sweet whereas the management are just toxic. They talk about their employees behind their backs, and make disparaging remarks about them. Furthermore, the pay is WAY too low for the amount of work we do.
Way too demanding and stressful. Horrible, horrible place to work.

Don't even consider working here.

My experience with CBI was horrible. The company is so huge that they had problems booking orientations. The pay was abysmal (I have a masters degree, and 13 years of experience and yet they offered me $18/hour). You get no help with and little Information about with the clients, no training, yet the clients can be difficult. You are expected to do quite a bit of paperwork after every shift, yet are given no opportunity, no time to do it. Plus, the managers and team leaders will call you on evenings, weekends, early mornings, and other times when you are not scheduled to work. The management is unprofessional and even unable to schedule you. When I resigned I didn’t even get a response. Skip applying for this company.

If i could give this company no stars i would.horrible place that i regret ever working for. management and office staff are very unprofessional.makes you question how they even got hired there in the first place.I don't know anyone who would want to work 12 days on and 2 off.no benefits and no raises.I 100% agree with another reviewer who said they use other staff against each other cause that happened to me!! it will happen to you too.stay away!!!

Love this company and the clients. Only reason I'm leaving is because I need more hours. The clients are great. You need to have a car cause your going house to house so you gas bill.may ne quite high. But overall a great place to work.

To work for CBI home health was very disappointing.
The company and its managers are disrespectful and inappropriate at times. CBI does not care about their clients or their well being...The way some employees spoke to the clients left me in utter shock. CBI does not take the time to educate field staff or office staff. Company does not support office staff when direction or guidance is needed. Company claims to have a open door policy yet upper management is unapproachable and unavailable.
Poor management, poor customer service, poor atmosphere.

Some days are ok, but most days aren't. Some staffs are very Catty and some are nice staffs. Mostly female staffs too, need some males to balance things out. Really long working hours that you're not paid for. No proper training for new staffs, and the training period is extremely short. You can be fired based on another staffs opinion of you. Supervisors always make last minute decions when short on PSW, especially on the weekends and always make coordinators accountable for almost everything. With some leaders, very poor leadership. and no room for growth. You'll gain weight stress eating here lol, but at the end of the day it's a job you can choose to leave or stay. Goodluck!

CBI is very team and client focused. They truly care about you as a worker, and about their clients. The culture is fun and collaborative and engaging around the office. Teams across departments mesh very well. Managers are very supportive and understanding. Amazing clients! Open door to speak to Managers & HR. Great benefits. The work may not always seem super easy, but you are truly making a difference, and that doesn't always happen easily. If you enjoy challenges and want to make a difference, then it's a great fit. I've loved working here, and hope to stay with CBI for many years.

Availability has to be very open to get enough hours to support yourself. Safety of frontline staff should be more of a priority for management. The company had a law firm that will dispute workplace injury compensation. That doesn’t make us feel respected or appreciated. High turnover of office staff and that’s hard on clients, families and care aides.

Individuals were great to work with, as were most of the staff within the home. Management was horrible and found anything to write you up for, never got your side of things just took the word of who ever it came from, even the individuals who often made things up. Coordinators oversaw multiple homes and were often difficult to get ahold of.
