Très bon avantages sociaux belles équipes de direction mais c'est tout salaire merdique aucun concret pleins de belles paroles et on a profité de moi je ne suis vraiment pas la seule ambiance d'équipe mauvaise de type hiérarchique très heureuse d'être parti

Working with the clients is a lot of fun and front line staff are incredible.Other than that management is terrible, no communication in every department, no care for staff and clients. You will consistently be disappointed.Save your efforts and time for any other place than CBI Health group, You will never grow in the company and they will give you pathetic reasons why you can't get a promotion. Management are incredible unreliable even if it is a emergency situation. Management will consistently try and throw you under the bus to save their own positions. CBI management has no care for staff and don't provide proper care to the clients. This toxic work environment that management has created will ware you down and take control of your mental health, they do not care.

I was part-time and I as well, was expected to know my new position thoroughly after 2 days of working there. Everything has a learning curve but I was also expected to learn and know thoroughly, how to do all medical and WCB billing etc., by the end of those first two days, which they knew I had no experience in doing when they hired me. Keep in mind at this same time, the phones were ringing off the hook/I was learning a new phone system, and clients were coming in and needed to check in for their appointments. I’ve been working for a really long time and am very good at secretarial/administrative work, but at CBI, they expect you to be psychic and know the job that you’ve just started, and know it well, by the end of those two days. It is common knowledge that it takes a good 3 to 6 months to learn a job thoroughly and that is if your full-time, But when there is five days of no learning in between those two days of working, it is impossible to achieve efficiency. No one wants to fail at a job, especially your first week! But at CBI Cranbrook, they set you up for failure. They really don’t care about you, because there are more people behind you that are desperate for work. This is a small town and a good job is hard to come by. You and people like you, are a dime a dozen. So no, I do not recommend working for this company. It definitely is a blow to your self-esteem. Everyone deserves to be respected and you will not find it at this company.

Expectations of 14-16 hour days when its all said and done, yet only getting paid for the actual visits. No money paid for milage if you work the city. Management is poor. This company can't handle the volume of clients they're contacted for because they don't have enough nurses, they're losing nurses and sick calls etc. Constant emails from sun up to sun down to take clients they can schedule due to of lack of nurse's and DEMANDING nurses call in to cover them even though the nurses days is already overly full. This company is and has been on a constant decline..

Management value less health care aides staff, they always take what ever LPN (supervisor)say , health care staff are are not paid fair (16 per hr) and they do many restricted task like wound care , advance exercises , you walk with client for 2 hrs and you have to move on to next clients tired, My availability was from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm and I may work 3 hrs between 12 hrs and paid just that 3 hrs that day .Supervisor can threats you if you don’t do the job.The other is managers, supervisors, client and health care aides.

If you don't have a voice, coordination will overwork you until you burn right out. Understandable they need to do their job, but in all honesty they don't care about your health, it is all on you to make sure you don't go downhill.Besides poor coordination(I called in sick one day and they didn't fill my shift for the next day and I was even more ill the next day but had to work), little training everywhere gives you, and the nursing to do their checks on you but stay 2 minutes and call it a pass. I really enjoyed my employment here, clients are our main focus, we all need to keep person centered care in mind. I just want to go home at the end of the day knowing I made at least some change in someones life. Knowing that, several employees here I've seen have no respect for their clients and just want the job done. If any of you front line staff are reading this, do not apply if you are in it for the money. Take the time to really get to know your clients, be respectful and ALWAYS ask for their preference. I've seen agitation and loneliness with clients because some just come in and do whats on the care plan and run out the door. That is not right, there is more to it than that. Sad to say you don't know what goes on behind closed doors. Make a difference!Shout out to a coordinator for being kind and all your hard work. Two nurses for being there and taking the time to make sure your staff is doing good. Compassion is still out there.

Very unprofessional management. From the beginning of working with this company, everything was very unorganized. There is no information about clients for new workers, you are just thrown into client's homes with no information. Pay and pay for mileage is extremely low. It is extremely hard to reach the office when you need something fast and you will be transferred at least 3 times before someone will actually help you. Company doesn't care about employees, they just want someone at the home, even if it's a chimpanzee. Don't waste your valuable time!!

You gain so much experience from working with cbi, the clients make you feel like home every time you visit them. I recommend anyone to work in here.

Originally CBI home Care was actually we care they were shut down because of poor management because of neglect and abuse towards seniors and staff. I know I myself was fired because my ex-husband busted my face open they decided to fire me because I was a victim of abuse I left them I wasn't staying with them but it didn't matter they still fired me their excuse was apparently I never had a social development check done which is a lie a big lie because I was working for them for four and a half years so if I was working for four and a half years that means I was on the floor for that long without the proper paperwork so they're justification for firing me was complete bogus.

Working at CBI as part of monarch house was one of the worst job experiences I have encountered. Management was so disorganized and employees did not receive proper training prior to beginning work. The first clients I received were in need of help desperately & were prone to aggression. I was given zero details of the family and thrown into it. Monarch house also does not pay you for millage on your vehicle (which you must drive) & are not paid fairly for your time driving. The company is trying to do amazing work but missing major parts to be successful. Management does not care if you are sick and will guilt you into working regardless of your health. Overall, a horrible company who does not have their employees best interest in mind, there needs to be more support & clinicians. If you are hired as a BI be prepared to do a lot of the clinicians dirty work.

Worst place ever. No respect for any of their employees. The community nurses and psws had it way worse then us in the office. They could triple the wages and i would refuse to go back. I have worked some pretty horrible places and this was by the worst. Do not work here.

Definitely the worst pay for this field but good for beginners. Supervisor and management is helpful you can learn a lot. But pay was terrible compared to your work

CBI Home health isn’t a bad place to work. Enjoy working with my clients and colleagues. They train and equip you but hours aren’t guaranteed. No much room for advancement

Not a good place to work they often punish you by taking away your schedule if your needing to be off 2 weeks consecutively. All they care about is that they send a body to the client not that their employee does a good job .

Good place to work. Fast paced but great teamwork. Pay rate needs to be upped to encourage staff to stay otherwise they will have high labour turnover. The Managers and team leaders needs to take the opinions of other staff and get some points from those opinions and try to implement.Team leads should ensure distribution of responsibilities and duties otherwise some people are working and others are not. A system of appraisal of diligence and rewards system will also encourage diligence.

This place has very poor communication between office staff and those in the field. They are very argumentative and rude when they make a mistake. They also don't pay you what you're worth. You're paid well under industry standard.

CBI has been a great place to work. Management has been very empathetic and applies solutions related to safety very quickly. On the job training was a little scattered, but all paperwork, medication, and support resources are clearly available. There is not much training that can prepare you for this line of work as a lot of it comes from experience and the specific client you are working with. Some locations are a lot better run than others; however, management is actively working to improve this. The pay is good and the benefits are extremely well priced. Contrary to some reviews here, you do get paid per kilometer to travel when working. The only complaints are that you do not get paid overtime and COVID has made it very hard to have full staffing. This leaves a lot of extra hours to be worked. It should be noted that the nature of the job is inherently stressful at times as you need to deal with aggressive behavior. However, CBI was very transparent about this. They also offer a lot of support themselves and via supports you can call (benefits also cover psychological counseling).Definitely a decent place to work if you have initiative and a drive to excel.

If you want fulltime + hours this job is great. Shifts are 8hrs 16hrs and 24hrs. Not ideal if looking for short shifts or minimal availability. Hourly wages could be higher especially when working back to back 24hr shifts but, definitely better then some places. Benefits are great at 40+ hours.

I have been working at CBI Health Group full-time. Pros: Above and beyond team that go out of their way to provide support for various tasks and projects you're working on, lots of opportunity to learn new skillsets and challenge yourself, you can tell the team really cares about their people and makes a great work culture a priority. Cons: The company is quite large, can sometimes lose sight of the bigger picture when working on individual projects
