The management is horrible. The owners/manager was only present about 2-3 days a week and hardly ever stayed for an entire day. There is no training what so ever and all employees are to learn the position on their own.
I was employed by the company for only 5,5 months and during that time the management fired 6 people. The store only consisted of 6 employees.
During my employment I was promised many things that never happened.
I strongly do not agree with how this company is run.

The staff were all friendly and nice. Small shop with old and outdated equipment. Poor ventilation and tedious to keep work area clean. Only one pressure washer in the shop, so it was hard to keep floors clean. Work load was good and constantly busy. Good place to work if you like a fast paced shop with different vehicles to work on every day. Benefits were decent, no vision coverage though. Constantly out of stock on shop supplies and very unorganized.
My typical day included shipping and receiving parts, customer service, dropping and picking up vehicles and maintaining the property. Management is incredibly unorganized. I wasn't comfortable with how they dealt with their business. I brought in a new organization technique , I reorganized the parts room for full efficiency. I enjoyed the customer service aspect as well as organizing inventory.
workday includes washdetail vehicles other duties as required. help painters with sanding taping etc. clean up around shop. clean staff washrooms. steady work until slowdown and was laidoff. most enjoyable part learning new skills.
This was a very busy auto body shop that demanded detailed attention to your work. I worked with a awesome crew at this location that taught me a lot about a business that I knew nothing about when I started. Hands on training that brought me to the front of the business to deal with the customers on a day to day basis. To arrange everything that they required even a ride home form the boss if so needed.
